Matty Alou Posted August 16, 2015 Report Posted August 16, 2015 Milwaukee would make a 23 gauge pin nailer? I would snatch that up in a heart beat.
JerryNY Posted August 16, 2015 Report Posted August 16, 2015 I think if they were going to get into nailers they'd start with 18g brad & 16g finish nailers first. Pin nailers are more specialty and Milwaukee seems to pick and choose what woodworking tools they bring to market.
Milwaukeenut Posted August 17, 2015 Report Posted August 17, 2015 I have no clue why Milwaukee did not show any interest in nailers and miter saws this year. I know they would have a lot of success with the brads and framers but I was really hoping for a cordless miter saw.
bothuhead19 Posted August 29, 2015 Report Posted August 29, 2015 I know they got an M18 miter saw overseas. I really thought they were going to bring it over to the NA market. I'm really bummed that they don't have that many tools for woodworking.
DR99 Posted August 29, 2015 Report Posted August 29, 2015 Rumors are of a M18 Fuel 10" miter saw at some point. Nailers though don't seem to be a huge priority though from Milwaukee
chewie17 Posted August 29, 2015 Report Posted August 29, 2015 Milwaukee probably didn't do any nailers or the mitre saw because they are waiting for next year to blow everyone out of the water again. maybe the last to the fight but they will be the last standing. and as for the mitre saw, im not sure if I like the style of the one they have in Europe.... I think they would make it more like their corded version they have here now. although a 0 clearance slider is a sweet option to have. 1

I don't think anyone would argue that Milwaukee makes great saws so I would expect great things from them if they were to bring over a cordless Miter saw.
chewie17 Posted August 29, 2015 Report Posted August 29, 2015 Id be happy with a dual purpose fuel saw, corded/cordless would be a great step up. And also if they could keep the digital degree readout too. That would be stepping it up for sureSent from my B15 using Tapatalk

chewie17 Posted August 30, 2015 Report Posted August 30, 2015 I would send them my opinion however I don't think they would do them just based on my opinion.

JerryNY Posted August 31, 2015 Report Posted August 31, 2015 Boo, I kinda need a miter soonish and I'm not sure I can wait not knowing one way or another for certain when and what Milwaukee will be releasing a new saw. I might have to just buy a dewalt, they do make nice saws, but it would have been nicer buying an M18 saw with an excuse to get a 9 Ah battery to go with it
kruton Posted August 31, 2015 Report Posted August 31, 2015 These companies must really hate it when I have money in the bank. I'm pretty sure all of the tool companies know when I have money in savings so they say ok Kruton just transferred a few hundred bucks into savings, who wants it.Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
hathatyl Posted September 1, 2015 Report Posted September 1, 2015 A pin nailer could be a good 12v option for Milwaukee. I wish they would announce a miter saw too though. I may be getting a miter before the end of the year and would like all the players in he field before I make a choice
