Mondo1310 Posted August 27, 2015 Report Posted August 27, 2015 Anyone interested in the new 48inch carbon fiber level by dewalt?? Looks amazing for a level. Not priced to bad for a $100 for a carbon fiber tool. Would like here the crew thoughts on this. http://www.homedepot.com/p/DEWALT-48-in-Carbon-Fiber-Level-DWHT43134/206096718?keyword=DWHT43134&AID=10368321&PID=1796839&SID=97127731&cm_mmc=CJ-_-1796839-_-10368321&cj=true Quote
Nordraw Posted August 28, 2015 Report Posted August 28, 2015 Cool looking level but I don't need a level at that price point. Quote
hathatyl Posted August 28, 2015 Report Posted August 28, 2015 Looks cool. Glad they didn't do the chauffeured edges like empire does. Quote
Hugh Jass Posted August 28, 2015 Report Posted August 28, 2015 Looks cool. Glad they didn't do the chauffeured edges like empire does. My biggest pet peeve and the biggest positive for the Dewalt. Still sticking to my cheap as hell Johnsons. Quote
kruton Posted August 28, 2015 Report Posted August 28, 2015 For a few bucks more you can get a Johnson digital level.Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk Quote
DR99 Posted August 28, 2015 Report Posted August 28, 2015 Your not far off from Stabilla levels pricing wise!! Quote
RickyMcGrath Posted August 28, 2015 Report Posted August 28, 2015 I've had my share of levels. Wood Johnsons to Aluminum Ibeam to DeWalts Box beam. My favorite is my new Empires I just picked up from HD. Maybe it's because I paid 1¢ each for three of them. [emoji16] 2 Quote
DR99 Posted August 28, 2015 Report Posted August 28, 2015 The only proble is at that price you not far off from what a Sablilla level costs!! That's just me I love Geraman hand and measuring tools Quote
jrsalas Posted August 29, 2015 Report Posted August 29, 2015 I picked the Bosch laser level torpedo with 100' capability a couple years ago and still running strong. Love it. If this CF Dewalt level had a laser id buy... Sent from my VS985 4G using Tapatalk Quote
BK13 Posted August 31, 2015 Report Posted August 31, 2015 Mmmm, carbon fiber..... That being said, I'd do a Stabila at that price point long before I bought a DeWalt.... Quote
bothuhead19 Posted August 31, 2015 Report Posted August 31, 2015 Carbon fiber seems nice...pretty expensive though... Quote
Atlas2000 Posted September 4, 2015 Report Posted September 4, 2015 Nice, but well beyond my price point. Quote
