kruton Posted September 10, 2015 Report Share Posted September 10, 2015 Have any of you used any of the Schluter products like the Kerdi Board or Ditra? I am getting ready to remodel our last bathroom and for the other two just used cement board, but one of the guys at work was telling me about this Kerdi board. He spoke highly of it so I think I am going to give it a try. I guess if anyone has used it I'm just looking for any tips or pointers when installing it kind of a lessons learned or things you wish you would have done differently. I have everything priced to do it with cement board so I don't know how big of a price difference there will be either. deedub35 Posted September 11, 2015 Report Share Posted September 11, 2015 The kerdi board saves you the step of not having to apply the Kerdi waterproof membrane over the concrete board/denshield/drywall substrate. Used Kerdi board to do a shower bench then the membranes for wall an floor liners. It was absoley great to work with. We watched a lot of videos on YouTube that explained it well.
