khariV
Does anyone know the difference between the 690 and the 692?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
ChrisK
Two speeds. I've got the
ChrisK
That is to say the 690 has one setting whereas the 692 has two but you really would be quite alright with the 690, still brushless and awesome gun. Only problem is the 3.0s get eating up pretty quick so get yourself a 4.0 or 5.0 and it will go and go and go!
DR99
This kit comes with a 4.0ah battery. Now that I have some Dewalt again I might get the 20v max yard stuff now.
Sarbatche
Yup. I was just about to post this deal myself. Is anyone not satisfied with their single speed nailer? Though... For a difference of $250 I don't know how I couldn't manage to cope with it.
DR99
They single speed is just to give longer battery life if your driving shorter nails it has nothing to do with how fast you can put down nails.

DR99
I like my Paslode but no fuel to deal with is pretty awesome!!! I might sell my Senco and Paslode cordless trim nailers, and just do all in with the Dewalt nailers down the road.
MikeyB
Thats a great deal, I was crushing my paslode framer today and still love that Gun (never lets me down) even after close to 15 years of use.. I am hard pressed to give it up to a new cordless framer...... But that Dewalt looks sweet......
PaulE
I went ahead and bought one. I always need batteries and chargers. If that is worth $100 I cant turn down a mailer form149. I'm excited to use it, come spring I have a few large projects where it will get put to the test.
DR99
If I was a guy that installed fences this would be a game changer. Pneumatic has to be a huge pain in the ass from long ass hoses to finding an outlet. The Dewalt lets you get running in no time!!! The Paslode wasn't bad but fuel costs sucked and it could be a pain in cold weather. The one thing that is nice about the Paslode is the weight the only thing that blows is the damn thing wont be here till Monday
Santi_78342
Thanks for the link. I couldn't pass it up. If I don't like it, I'm sure I can get my money back and then some on Craigslist!

khariV
Damn it - I had to have one too. At least it's not COMPLETELY a new battery platform for me. My Dewalt OMT will now have some company.
LastOfTheVee8s
I was kicking around the idea of getting one but now it's listed as "out of stock"
DR99
I don't know if they ran out or its out of stock now because it was a daily deal. It was one of those things where you had to make a quick decision.
khariV
The deal actually lasted for a couple of days. I was really hoping that it was just a 24 hour desk and could ignore it on the first day, but then I came back the next day and it was still live so I took that as a sign that I needed to pull the trigger. DR99
It was hard to say no at that price:( I figure I can break even at worst selling my Paslode. Even though the Dewalt weights more not having to deal with fuel cells and everything else that goes with owning a Paslode is nice. They added a new Paslode nailer to the UTB but nothing information wise about it has leaked yet. The big thing is Dewalt should make an new positive placement version or a tip that allows it. A cordless nailer is perfect for hangers and such.
