Drill & Tap

I love Dewalt stuff for general construction and power tools but I tend to think that it's better to go with the established machining suppliers in this instance. Unless you're just going through aluminum or pot metal. I'd be sold if someone writes a review on them in a block of stainless steel.

Not to familiar with tap and die. Does this mean it forms a thread for threaded bolts etc.

In short, yes. This set is solely a tap set. But what's great about it is its is a drill bit and tap in one tool. Very commonly used by electricians when electrical boxes are stripped out. They can drill the hole bigger, the right size, and then tap new threads.
