roadhog96 Posted November 2, 2015 Report Posted November 2, 2015 I cannot find a DeWalt 20V caulking gun anywhere so I guess they don't make one. Milwaukee, Makita and a few others have them. I know DeWalt use to make a 18V but now that I've switched over to the 20V that doesn't do much good. Anyone know if there's one available or am I right about them being no longer.
roadhog96 Posted November 2, 2015 Author Report Posted November 2, 2015 Awesome thanks for the heads up, looking forward to it.
midogrumpy Posted November 2, 2015 Report Posted November 2, 2015 meanwhile you can by the adaptor and the 18V gun of course does not make sense from investment point of view if the 20v max gun only has several weeks/ fewmonths release datemy unofficial sources however say will take till mid 2016 so buying the two item now makes sense mike
DR99 Posted November 2, 2015 Report Posted November 2, 2015 For some reason I though Dewalt had a cordless caulk gun out already. I think with the release of it Dewalt has pretty much replaced 18 volt version of tools with 20 volt versions?
Gatorb888 Posted November 2, 2015 Report Posted November 2, 2015 Cordless Sheers/Nibbler and concrete vibrator are the only other ones I can think of.
Rtorres092382 Posted November 3, 2015 Report Posted November 3, 2015 We're working on it!Are you able to give a timeframe? Say before or around Q2 2016?

roadhog96 Posted November 5, 2015 Author Report Posted November 5, 2015 Do you think it will be Brushless? Yes?
DR99 Posted November 5, 2015 Report Posted November 5, 2015 Doubt they would go brushless on a caulk gun It wouldn't be worth the extra cost.
Hugh Jass Posted November 5, 2015 Report Posted November 5, 2015 Do you think it will be Brushless? Yes? Yep, it'll squeeze 6 tubes at a time from a distance of 12 ft in 3.4 seconds. Seriously though...why? 1
roadhog96 Posted November 11, 2015 Author Report Posted November 11, 2015 Yep, it'll squeeze 6 tubes at a time from a distance of 12 ft in 3.4 seconds. Seriously though...why?Why not? Why does anyone want a brushless tool? I'd say mostly because of the extended run time, it's a better technology as long as it wasn't two or three times the price. DeWalt would be the first to offer one so it would make it unique in its own cool way. Either way, I'm sure the new one will be just fine with or without brushless. I just hope they design it with the new ergonomic hand grip, it would make a world of difference.
