mixbyspyke Posted March 29, 2012 Report Posted March 29, 2012 Hey guys ....So far nobody has been able to identify this antique hand tool.....
PutnamEco Posted March 29, 2012 Report Posted March 29, 2012 Looks like it may be used to put a crimp in something, Do you have any more context? Did you find this on a farm?A few comapnies make a crimper for jointing rain gutter down spouts, and I'm reminded of this method when looking at this tool. Then again it looks like kind of like a crimping iron that people use on their hair. Maybe for horses?
crazyandy Posted February 28, 2013 Report Posted February 28, 2013 It looks like something used in the saw movies!
Highdesert Splintermaker Posted November 13, 2013 Report Posted November 13, 2013 It looks like something I certainly don't want to see anywhere near my private tools! 1

RedSionnach Posted November 13, 2013 Report Posted November 13, 2013 It's an antique hair crimper. So unless you style your short hairs.... 1
