Confirmed. I like the flexvolt because it is heavy/has less vibration. I bought the brushless compact because the trigger quit working on the flexvolt. Now I remember how badly the lighter saw vibrates your teeth. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

3 reasons I don't have the FV table saw: 1. It won't take a dado blade. My corded table saw does. 2. Occasional use- only needed for very precise rips- rips for framing and fencing can be done with the circular saw. 3. The track saw is more versatile. It can rip anything a table saw can, as well as things it can't- doors, for example. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If money is no issue, get both! I use my circular saw nearly every day. I rarely use my TS, and don't even keep it in the van since I got the track saw. I do home repairs. My saws, in order of most use: 1 Circular saw 2 Oscillating tool (finishes circular saw cuts) 3 reciprocating saw 4 tracksaw 5 jigsaw 6 tablesaw 7 corded skilsaw I would recommend getting the first two saws as well as an impact and drill set first. You really can't go wrong with the Dewalt 20 or 60v platform. That's what I use for a living. If I didn't already have multiples of the tools, I would start with the toughsystem/tool bundle. Yes and no. Lowe's seems to have fewer tools overall. But Lowe's seems to have more SDS Max bits and accessories, which presumably are purchased primarily by contractors. I do like the fact that HD has reserved parking for trailers and illiterates, (You'll get it soon) while Lowe's doesn't. HD does seem easier to shop at. FV batteries make a HUGE difference on some tools, like the 20v circular saw and miter saw. They make a noticeable difference in the big leaf blower. Strangely enough, I didn't notice a difference with my SDS drill. I can't recall a huge difference when I put one on my dcf899. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Worth it for me. I don't use the serrated side, but I hit the flat side of it with a hammer to sink nails hidden behind lap siding. I set sawed off screws with it the other day so I could run my portable planer over a twisted PT post. It's useful enough to merit a spot in my nailbags, and I don't carry much. It doesn't hold much of an edge, because I abuse it I've sharpened it once in the last three years. I think a cheaper chisel would be a mistake. The side strike is indestructible.
