  1. Next quickly cabinet coming up.... the carcass will utilize the LR32 system and probably the Kreg system. No fancy joinery again. I’m using the left over piece of warped CDX. No idea what the door will be but the picture is showing where it’s going. I have the CDX cut down to size, I think....again....no plans, we will see where this goes. On another note, on my multi use cabinet I believe the opening on the right will be for router bits...maybe.
  2. Well work as usual has been slow going but in an effort to get rid of some scrap ply and pine I made a plan less shop cabinet that continued to morph as it went. This is old CDX ply, warped all to heck. No trick joinery...glue, screws and nails. It morphed as I went along but it came out okay for being a cheap shop cabinet with no ideas. Also FINALLY got my compressor reel up...
  3. I would t worry dude, with the sale as it is that is a screaming competitive deal.
  4. And....drum roll please....spammer. Account suspended. Thanks for playing. Have a nice night.
  5. The link I attached says that the $100 off is excluded and it sounds like a mail in rebate on the ones that are included, certainly worth it but I didn’t want anyone getting a surprise
  6. I’m pretty sure those are excluded from the deal according to the site. https://www.festoolproducts.com/on-sale.html
  7. Welcome to the forums Tony. I started getting some unconventional tools to keep my batteries running, a fan, radio, pump, things like that. Keeps the batteries circulating between projects.
  8. Mine is the Dewalt 2speed framer. Unless I’m running a 5.0 or a flexvolt the 4.0s can’t keep up. As a matter of fact because of this I deep 6d them. Also my M18 sump drains them fast but the 9.0s give me about forty minutes vs the 5.0 at something like 20
  9. Love seeing these older posts pop up. Welcome to the forums dude. It’s fun reading my old posts and how much my shop has changed. I now run two sander now in my shop. I have a Bosch ROS65VCL with both the 5 and 6 inch pads and the Festool RO90DX. Everything else? Gone. I run dust dust collection on both units and the two do fantastic work. I use Festool paper on both machines but also use Mirka paper on the Bosch. Dust collection is amazing on both when you use it and the finish from both machines is amazing. Just using paper on a piece of rough hewn flaky old crap pine I was able to burnish the surface to glass smooth where I don’t think I would have been able to use a finish. Both machines are expensive and I wouldn’t use any sander on a fine piece of work without dust collection and these machines benefit from it. Good luck!
  10. Nice, I had no idea. Looks like a nice gun
  11. I didn’t know it was available for purchase. Looks like it’s got some decent stats though.
  12. No doesn’t work with this one 🤨
  13. Geeeesh...keep me informed. I’ve looked all over and the CMS seems to be about it here in the USA. Also I have the Kreg table. It is awesome. I cannot find a lift for the 2200 and I use a PC in a lift on my Kreg.
  14. I am going over today, it says it’s in stock but God knows I can’t find it. I am pretty confident this is going to help quite a bit in my woodshop though. Temporary hold ups for jigs and even permanent stuff too, we will see 🙏😎
  15. I got that adapter for Ryobi so I can run Ryobi tools on Dewalt batteries. Still have to buy a Ryobi glue gun but cannot wait.
  16. Got several things recently but this was a cool deal from HD...
  17. Impact guns are nice. With newer technology they have a ton of options out there. I run an Dewalt 887 and a Milwaukee Surge. Both have a screw assist mode that will not allow you to not over drive screws. They make drill bits now that work with impact guns too. At the end of the day though, I use a 12v drill for almost all of my household work. I use those two impacts for assembling furniture projects because of the assist mode but I installed two wall mount TVs in the last two weeks and never broke out an impact gun, just my drill for pilot holes and screwing into studs. Having the option is nice. Also lithium is what you want. I would check out Ryobi, they make awesome home owner tools and have a lot of options that are all cost conscious. Welcome to the forums by the way!
  18. Are they nicad batteries? If so...memory on the batteries you will have to replace them.
  19. I’d agree with @Jronman that might be best. A portable stand is great but you be routing from an elevate position which might be difficult
  20. Awesome Phil! Issues will be a thing but that’s okay, I am here with my family and I am back to work. How’s being a new daddy treating you? 🤪
  21. Thanks dude! That looks awesome, wonder when it will make its way over here 🤔
