  1. Nothing with the Makita here, I have a Festool though I’ve heard great things about the Makita. Welcome to the forums. Just out of curiosity, what kind of material are you cutting? Any chance the blade is gummed up with pitch?
  2. Thanks Comp! And making little Chris’ too!!! Just found out Will is going to be a brother 👍😎🙏😇
  3. Mortised a stop block for an antique Stanley I have...
  4. Well after some “fine tuning” I have the first of two benches ready...the base support shelf remains undone but...
  5. All I have outside of a couple of flexvolt batteries are 5.0s and a couple of 2.0s. My framer runs best and longest with the 5.0s (or flexvolts) i stopped using 4.0s on it, they could not keep up.
  6. Jake, reach out to @overanalyze about this. He has a pretty sweet set up and Andrew is a great guy who might give you some good insight. He manufactured how own brackets for the work truck they use too. Also congratulations on that trailer, it looks sweet. Any chance you’ll post some pics of the unit itself. I have been thinking about getting one in the next year or so.
  7. That’s cool, I use the regular rails on mine too. I have been looking at the medium rail for cutting joists, the positive locks are pretty cool. I have a medium rail but returned it because one of the elastic strings tore off in the rail and just got my money back. I’ll probably get another rail though, they work great when they work great 😉
  8. You’ll like it I think, it does not have the dc that you’re used too but I like mine a lot. It’s compact but I have cut a lot of pt with mine using the regular 5.2s and it’s a really handy light weight saw. What size rail did you get for it?
  9. Don’t worry bro, I deleted all 7 of your other posts and deadlined your links. Welcome to the forums 🤙 have fun spamming us later...
  10. I’m at odds between the Milwaukee and Dewalt. Carvex is still a possibility but for a 150 less the battery free options in red and yellow do add up though I’m still unsure.
  11. Hey all, Hilti drill, 2 batteries and a charger adapter (not a charger). New, unused it was a sort of gift that I don’t need. It’s the hammer drill kit with the 18/21v charger adapter you just put the batteries on. Shipping included, USA only. $100. You can buy the charger direct from Hilti for about $35 with shipping.
  12. Awesome idea bro, that’ll work slick as snot
  13. They look good though dude. Are you going to fill them or sand them or leave them in place?
  14. Travis, I am so sorry to hear this. Prayers being sent bro, I hope you little one is doing well.
  15. Dude, that is amazing. Awesome work bro, clearly blowing me out of the mud!
  16. Glad to see you back Mike!! Been pretty quiet here lately but the forum is cyclic, so as the weather turns cooler the forum gets warmer
  17. geesh. I got this tool but really ive been using my Dewalt a lot more so no issues I have noticed yet.
  18. I was really going to go with the Mak, I really think the design is solid but alas...I went with the Milwaukee. I think the DC on the Mak is probably the best available without spending serious coinage but many issues with the release. Maybe they have worked them out, it would be nice to see this machine working top of the line
  19. I’m thinking it’s so it can fit between studs? The pistol grip would make it longer, I have the bradder one of the finishers and the framer all pistol grip and they are quieter large guns.
  20. Gotta love these guns they’re introducing. I’ve got three, I have no need for this but what a cool idea. I wired my shop over the last year, I hate those staples, bend all over when your driving.
  21. First off welcome to the forums dude. I don’t have that tool so really cannot comment but maybe the brushes are going bad on the tool. That would definitely cause a change in tone and power.
