  1. French cleats with plastic boxes? Just run strips horizontally over the remainder of the pull out and insert the little plastic buckets? Looks good bro.
  2. Is it wrong that every time you post a picture of that I get a wee ‘lil chubby?
  3. Wow. Awesome gift dude. I don’t own one but that is a truly phenomenal router.
  4. Are you always logging in via Facebook?
  5. I was under the impression that Milwaukee trucks are not from Milwaukee Electric Tool. I’m not sure but tat is what I remember hearing at some point. Because Home Depot has Milwaukee trucks up in my neck of the woods.

    Festool Cyclone!

I’ve got the cyclone on my Midi and right now my 26 doesn’t have one. I’m really toying with getting this, I do all of my routing and track saw use with the 26 where as my Midi is dedicated to my Kapex.
  7. Hahaha....I guess once you hit over forty dropping the stick is easy 😉
  8. Maybe that’s why Home Depot was off loading the saw at a third of what they were asking for it shortl after introducing it.
  9. How’s the dust collection on that beast? I’ve heard a lot of good things about it. Also nice miter station.
  10. I had that and sold it to a member here. Loved the saw, consolidating and want to get the Mafell. I miss that saw but it’ll be worth it down the road.
  11. Yeah what he said. For me, having my hand closer to the work piece makes me more confident with the cutting. Personally, I like load sense. Once it activates the machine gets right into the cut. The variable speed trigger is nice but having my hand pushing from such a height is not natural or comfortable for me. You can essentially grip the blade and motor housing in your hand and really get into a turn while keeping while keeping the gravity low so I am less likely to tip the saw. Really though, it is personal preference. I would add the scribing boot you can buy for a lot of these saws makes guys that do trim work professionally more efficient when joining two pieces of crown molding together. Not a feature I need yet.

    Pre orders?

Just got delivery date for this Friday. This is going to be a fun weekend after I get back from a wedding on Saturday 👍
  13. Just another reason....that rolling stand I bought was from VMI, a store on eBay. Brand new, box damaged missing several screws. I contacted Dewalt. I just got a bag of screws and assorted bolts and washers. No proof of purchase, bought from an eBay store, not an authorized dealer. Bolt cost? Free. Shipping? Free. Customer service? Unbelievable.

    Pre orders?

Waiting on my chainsaw. No word yet but it said pre order for deliver 7/16
  16. I’d agree with @Bremon the light shines down the blade so maybe the blade is warped or the shaft is bent causing a slight wobble? The light is really a fixed beam though and though I don’t have the Dewalt, Milwaukee mimicked the light which is what I have.

    Makita 18v Jig Saw

I owned the Makita DJB181. I sold it but not because I didn't like it. I want to upgrade to the Mafell at some point so with all honesty, I think that Makita makes a great jigsaw in the 18v lineup. And I have to agree with @ToolBane response, my Makita was not variable control speed with trigger control but rather the load sensing speed and having variable speed is a good thing in a jigsaw though I did not mind the load bearing speed and actually got to like it quite a bit. I do not like high grip jigsaws though.
  21. So I am curious how the 12ah High Demand is going to work with the chainsaw when it gets here. I can tell you first hand the 9.0 will power the transfer pump for about 35-40 minutes. Are the 9.0 batteries a different cell than the new 12.0? For Milwaukee tools now I have the 10" Mitersaw (it aint the Kapex but I like the saw, seems really well built), the transfer pump the surge and the new mid range impact wrench. I am really excited by the chainsaw. I really was torn with the Dewalt, the Makita X2 (I have the brushed 12" bar - love it) and the Milwaukee. Regardless what will be interesting is how long my 9.0s power the chainsaw. They are awesome in the miter.
