  1. Nice job Big Mike!! For me....I got to work in my shop. With my buddy having been ill I was staying away from the shop but this week, I got my head outta my butt and went down there. I've been taking a woodworking class to boot so I got to mess around with my lathe after I finished up my Kapex station. I am almost done wiring in a permanent outlet for my lathe and I moved my work table over to its probably last location. Added trim boards and painted and hopefully I can start assembling my new 14" Rikon behemoth bamdsaw!
  2. Well looks like we got a new member from my favorite tool store so I'm thinking the call should be made Dan! Besides I've their stickers all over the place and a bunch of Tool Nut t shirts!!!!

  4. Yeah I have a Case too. Great knife..... Case Trapper.... (In red )
  5. That brushless saw looks pretty sweet Kruton. I don't think I'll let my 20v Dewalt go, it's a great little saw and dropping the coin on the Makita isn't in the stars..........yet
  6. Well that's cool that his grand mom got him that. How about some heavy duty saw horses and maybe a bench top wood working vice?

  8. It'll be nice to get my hands on that finisher Regopit. Can't wait But...I just got the 14" Rikon bandsaw so I won't pick it up for a little while.
  9. Love that inlay Regopit. That's a heck of a tiling job too.
  10. Yeah I'm curious as to how it's made but I'm ASSUMING it's overload. Interesting that you had the exact same thing happen which leads me to believe it's just a proprietary Bosch version of this.
  11. Nice Comp! I'm taking a pretty long class that's going to teach me bowl and plate turning and I've been buying tools all along. Very addictive!
  12. Leave it to a friggin' TIA brother to figure out how give Milwaukee a kick in the butt and get a friggin' tool box out there for its buyers Awesome job dg! I've been belly aching for Milwaukee to come up with a decent tool box and they screwed it up till you had the foresight to fix the problem. I'd patent your idea and sell it to the Milwaukee Skunk Works department. Maybe they will FINALLY come out with a decent tool box based on your idea!!! Awesome job and I'm amazed at what you can fit in there. Try Fastcap for a box of Kaisen foam and you'll have the sweetest box out there!
  13. @Petros, thanks for asking! I was using my IDH182 this week downstairs driving some screws and I had a similar issue. The motor was working but the impact stopped engaging. I've stalled out drills many times before but it was odd that the impact function stopped working while the drill was going. I assumed there might be a problem with my impact and have been monitoring it all week (doing a lot of work in my shop remodel!). I'm inclined to agree with the overload protection. I had my gun set to speed 1 then upped it to 3. I am using the 2.0 wireless batteries and when I jumped up to three the gun didn't do anything surprising. I was inclined at first to not believe the overload protection at first but after torquing up the power that is what seemed to pop up as a light bulb over my head. The reason I was confused was because every designed has a different model for overload protection. My Festool T18 immediately stops working an small chime sounds. It's like I just released the trigger, much different from my older Milwaukees and my current Bosch IDH182! The more I use this gun the more I like it! I will say my only real gripe is the chuck. I've had sockets get stuck almost every time I use it as a wrench. It's the spring on the end. I have to tap it with a piece of wood and it'll loosen up. Also, I have to use a impact rated bit holder with a long shank so it doesn't get stuck. Minor stuff that I'm willing to work with for such a power house with two real functions.....wrench AND driver. Thanks for asking Petros!
  14. Actually Kruton, that thing will make kielbasa all the way done to Vienna! Also, the demo was really cool. Amazing what that saw can do. Plus I got my brand spanking new Rikon 14" band saw down in the shop. I'll start assemble tomorrow!
  15. Pretty slick idea Nalu, man that is crazy strong to be able to hold it in place from the cabinet too!
  16. Hahahahahahahahahahaha yeah, I have been having the same problem Kruton. Friggin technology sucks. If I want to make Vienna sausages on my darn table saw I should be able to make Vienna sausages on my darn table saw. What the heck?????
  17. I'm going to Oktoberfest at Woodcraft today and they are going to be doing the hot dog demo at the store. That will be pretty darn cool.
  18. Wow Conductor! Nothing like an under wear changing moment in the shop! Glad your okay dude!
