  2. Yeah that looks like a pretty sweet track saw kit.
  3. I'll get my t Locs and l boxxes stacked today!!!!
  4. Thanks Javier! It's getting there! I am getting some more dine tomorrow night
  5. I'm in the same boat Madman. With the UTB, I received a 4.0 with a regular charger. I want to grab another but I'm going to wait a bit and go with the 5.0. I'm thinking we won't see the 6.0 for quite a while.

    10 " Table Saw

I hope he does Madman! I know they are a controversial company but you have to admit that is some awesome tech!
  7. Thats a great deal Comp, good for you! And Chad, they make a really nice one. Only wish it had an LED.
  8. I'll get a 6.0! Gotsta power up my IDH and the MXH when it comes in!!
  9. Thanks Comp. As far as the base, met, can't see out the windows anymore. And we're due for 6-8 tomorrow and possibly another one Monday. This sucks. I was like....man! The 24th and my roof is clear....yee-ha! Not any more. Day three of snow blowing. Day three. Got the whole back yard and like you my best buddy is a little short of stature so it's important that I clear a path for him. I snow blowed then cleaned the roof today and got my neighbors driveway again, trying to widen it. Oh and it's pretty warm out right now, maybe 20 degrees. This morning....no wind, air temp -16. Monday is supposed to get ultra cold again. Still...beats Gods Waiting room - Florida.

    10 " Table Saw

Awesome Samuel, do you think you'll end up getting one for yourself after all?
  11. I think you will be happy with your purchase. Remember it was your decision and your money, Dewalt makes great tools. So does Bosch. So win win for you!
  12. I just finished snow blowing. Man ah man I'm beat. To be honest, this was a pretty good storm. I thought they would over predict. They said 1-2' but when last I checked 30" is a little more than that! But is was brutally cold yesterday and today so the snow was fluffy and not the normal cement from Heaven we get.
  13. 30" and sixty mile an hour winds all day. I just got off duty....I said duty.....and have to snow blow again. Another 6" fell last night into early morning. Nothing like working all day the snow blowing all afternoon!
  14. I got two of the lights up. I am going to hardware and add switches probably today after I snow blow AGAIN.
  15. Funny. My Wife said the same thing.
  16. M not sure what kind of tongue and groove your doing but the collet size on the compact routers are normally 1/4" soooo......
  17. That's my motto. I would agree with KWC on the light too. Having an LED in a dimly lit area is very helpful. Not required just nice to have. More important is DC as it keeps the path clear for you to see. Oh and one more thing. Cordless is great to have one or two or whatever lines of as the batteries in most lines are now compatible. AC powered tools it's not that important. Each is its own stand alone tool so having a Dewalt here, a B&D there, a Milwaukee over there and a Makita in hand isn't a problem. It's when you have a Dewalt drill and a Makita impact that things get a little confusing.
  18. Hahahahahahahahaha that is freakin' hilarious! I just laughed out loud on the couch! And yeah that's a useful tool.
  19. Truthfully Chad, six to one half dozen to another. I think that the Bosch Colt variable and the Dewalt are universally liked as is the Makita compact too. I really like the way the Dewalt feels in hand but I haven't used it but man that plunge base for it really is sweet. I am currently in the market for a small compact and all three of these...and yes the Festool OF1010 are in the running. I have a gift card from my Mother in Law for a 100 at Woodcraft so I might get the Festool because it is less than a hundred bucks more with that card than all three models with the bases and I'm already in the line with dust control and the edge guide feature for the 1010 is crazy but I still might go another route. That's why I haven't bought it yet.
  20. Nah not yet Madman. Truthfully I just got them downstairs and was trying to figure out where to put the first one. They are pretty heavy and I'll have to enlist my Wife to help me out!
  21. Haven't used the Dewalt but the Variable speed Colt is awesome. I've heard the Dewalt is a good machine. The plunge base brings the palm router to a new level with added control.
  22. Depends on the stroke but a random orbit sander used with different grits is going to allow you to get a superior finish on larger projects. Hand sanding is sweet for true finish work and touch up. A multi tool is just that....a multi tool. It does everything. The sanding pads on those are very small though and dust control is not the best whereas a sander can be hooked up to a DC unit or shop vac making things healthier to finish. Not to mention cleaner and prevent sawdust from collecting under the lad and damaging your finish. And welcome aboard!

    New jig saw

Welcome aboard analog gamer. Just like Madman says it is really what you think is more co for table. It can take a little getting used to the barrel grip but your closer to the wood and it gives you, in my opinion, what feels like better control of the saw.
  24. Hey I just picked my new Dewalt Tool box up at HD. 121 freakin' pounds! For the top! My freakin' back is killing me! Anyways it's in the shop in its box and I'll open it later and post a pick. Can't wait!
