  1. Great job dude and welcome to the forum!
  2. I got the Rockler one several years ago but I really like the look of yours John. I will add the Rockler one works great I have used it numerous times and it's holding up but mine is more of a pre designed type. Yours is much more individual.
  3. Nice job bro. Probably will be making one myself in the spring. Oh....love cleaning the coop. Sooooo much fun.
  4. Congrats Jimbo! Sounds pretty exciting dude.
  5. Welcome to the forums Stewart! Hope you stick around bro!
  6. I just bought the Gorilla 17' extension flexi bendy wide ladder at HD for $79! Apparently it's in super sale for the weekend so normally it's $159. That's a great deal.
  7. Well the regional sales guy will be there and he is a dick so.....I'll keep it real I'll talk to the regional sales mananger and try to get a job!
  8. I'm hoping because it's Monday and not Saturday that'll be the case here to @regopit. Last time I went to Woodcraft I got some free shirts and some of the new sandpaper and hand pads they are selling. Unfortunately the new price scale goes into effect tomorrow so....no DF700 for Chris
  9. That's awesome John. That sounds like quite the cool thing to do!
  10. The CXS is by far the best drill I have ever owned bro but yeah....had Bosch released this in the USA when I bought mine three years ago I might not have bothered. The 12v Bosch line up shares batteries and there really is no 12v Festool lineup, just a couple of drills.
  11. Awesome. Video Dwain, looks like a real killer impact!
  12. http://www.festoolroadshow.com/events/list/ Heres the updated list if any of you wish to go poor @Foneguy Buddy, I would never have it at my house I wouldn't want any body looking at my new toys!!!
  13. Totally understand dude. Milwaukee honestly has one of the best warranties out there, so I wouldn't hesitate to go online and send it in the self addressed label!
  14. I'd contact Milwaukee warranty. If the tool is less than five (no receipt needed they date stamp the serial number) years old, which I bet it is, they honor their warranty. Of that doesn't work I'd highly recommend and American made (yeah yeah global blah blah blah) Dewalt DCF887!
  15. Hey guys, if anybody is planning on showing up on the 1st it has been moved to the 3rd because of that last March kick in the balls is scheduled to begin at 0800 tomorrow and go through Saturday Im taking Monday off to go. I'm sick of missing these

Welcome to the forums dude. That's one up on me. Have you contacted.......uhhh never mind! That'd be like getting a straight answer on Stonehenge!
  17. Thanks dude! Yup, I worked six years as an intermediate emt on an als bus in our largest city in NH. I got rear ended by a TT and that career ended. I ended up testing first in over fifty applicants in all three categories for a local PD and went to the academy. I've got fifteen months and I can pull the plug with the NHSP in the State retirement system. I'm hoping to hook up with a friend who retired and he does custom cabinetry and builds houses. I'll be forty eight and starting a new career path
  18. I've got an axe in the trunk of my work car. I tried using it to clear a downed tree from a roadway. Thank God a road crew came by. It was like hitting a wet log with a baseball bat.
  19. One more thing @Framer joe, if you decide you want to go Systainer route, by them in Amazon UK or De. You end up saving a bunch of money and get the kits within a week.
  20. Thanks @Framer joe I appreciate that. The multi drawers and the tool box one are awesome. Currently I have the food out systainer set up for cabinetry and have all of my specialty drill driver bits, shelf pins etc. The first aid systainer was from a Festool Owners Group member (WOW....he passed away last year) and he bought all of the pieces parts etc and the systainers, had them labeled professionally and sold them for like $350. I actually got his last one through a bid and one it for like $150 bucks. Before my current job, I worked Fire Rescue and the kits we had on the bus were less outfitted than this first aid kit. Almost like an ALS kit minus drugs and airway management! And yes, when you buy a Festool tool, the box comes with the, and has a picture of the tool right on the box. There are guys that even make their own decals for Dewalt, Milwaukee, Makita etc...
  21. Well....the instructions are a little hard to read but here they are boys! I finally pulled the trigger to start sharpening and I ordered a 1000 and an 8000 grit Shapton whetstone set. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. That's friggin awesome. Great idea dude.
  23. Neil is pretty cool and he's got an interesting take on Festool and the systainers. His take is dead on about some of the owners and he's dead on. I've been on the FOG for several years, I don't participate that much, a lot of the members are very truly....dick heads. This is a pic of most of my systainers from my shop blog
