  5. And that's why I can't drink at my job
  6. I started watching these guys a while ago and the more I think about it the more I really think the show is not in any way provide a positive spot towards alcohol and using tools in the workplace or the wood shop. I love to make punch jokes about drinking but truthfully if I have two beers in the course of two weeks I am truly amazed. Truthfully, of course alcohol has no place at the workplace. I remember when I had to work weekends and I'd go to Applebee's or some other restaurant during a weekday for lunch and there would be suits having "cocktails" and I used to think...geez that's unprofessional and could t wrap my head around going back to work with alcohol on my breath! But this show is not like that. It's a general discussion amongst colleagues and is by the very title...."Tools on Tap" designed to be a relaxed discussion about tools while in the safety of a home and not hanging off of scaffolding 120' in the air or running a large cabinet saw in a noisy shop, having a cold tap! I work at a job where I'm sized up and criticized daily and am used to being a true professional at all times, even when off duty....you never know who's watching! But I don't think the nature of this show is a problem but yes, work is work and the consumption of alcohol or drugs, even prescribed drugs used according to prescription is never safe. i know it's an old post but just watched another episode and was like....nah...this is pretty darn good!
  7. Love leg tapers bro, great work!

  10. I've tossed most of mine. The exceptions are for my Dewalt 20v framer. Most of my tools are housed on shelves or in cabinets and most of my power tools have been relocated to systainers for ease of movement and storage. I have all of my life boxxes away to my brother. I liked those but I had maybe eight or nine as opposed to the multitude of systainers and when it came to moving from our last home in Rochester it made my decision easier. Personally, I like l boxxes but they don't stack quite as easily as my systainers. I have a Dewalt tough system box that houses my...eeeek.....gasp....cough.....Milwaukee Sawzall, and yes, it is an awesome American made tool and I kept one l boxx which houses my Bosch ROS65VCL router which is one of the best made routers out there. I started keeping my soft sided tool bags too. They are fantastic for hand tools and especially my lathe tools. I keep them in metal cabinets and my chucks and tools stay nice and protected in them. I have heard some people be critical of systainers and l boxxes and truthfully they aren't Dewalt Toughsystem boxxes but I have never had one break or crack, even when dropped on the floor or thrown in the back of my truck. They are quite good and store most everything.
  11. Thanks Mikey, I appreciate that much sir!

  16. Holy crap! Rochester NH?!?!?!??!?
  17. Roger that bro. My Dad told me...."wait till he's 16..." I said he can do anything he wants. He's earned it Yeah, that MIGHT change
  18. Here he is right now at 1040 on my arm fast asleep!
  19. Yeah bro, he didn't provide enough sweat because he's so small. But, our nurse is confident he cannot develop CF based on his latest blood work. From what I understand is he will carry the gene presumably like me and not develop the illness Tomorrow I think we gat to talk with the geneticist! Then off to a level 2 NICU two towns from our new home and God willing a perfect Christmas with our son!
  20. Well rollercoaster again. Will didn't generate the sweat needed for the test required because he's so small but he's up to 5lbs 15.8oz and tomorrow is a go. They have a specialized ambulance and NICU nurse along with a paramedic for the trip which is supposed to be during a snow so hands clasped. The trip is supposedly going to happen mid morning and my Wife is a wreck right now but Will's blood work came back and it appears he may be in the clear for the second scare so.....the little guy ain't gonna be happy till I have a coronary. I got the insurance statement from just the four hour visit at our local hospital prior to Maine medical....$5400!!!!! Just for a four hour stint on the floor!!!!! Hopefully insurance does us good but seriously, who cares? I HAVE A SON!!!!!
  21. Did they hit you on import fees?
