  1. I love it. Open to the public? Free Tours? Free Tools at then end of the free tours? Brewing Companies do it. I'm just saying.
  2. You didn't use drywall screws to put it together did you? J/K
  3. This is bad. Drywall screws are made of brittle hardened steel that often snap when driving them into material. The base of the head is designed to dimple the paper. The screw guns are designed to drive the screws to the right depth inorder to not rip the paper. I have snapped many drywall screws when installing board because of a knot or something. Drywall screws should never be used for structure for this reason. They should never be used outside because they can rust. They should never be use with pressure treated because the preservatives in PT will oxidize the metal. Deck screws are coated to be compatible with PT. The threads on drywall screws are usually cut closer to the head of the screw compared to wood screws. This helps the wood screw clamp two pieces of wood together. Course drywall screws should be used with conventional framing lumber because it is usually a soft wood like pine. Fine drywall screws should be used in hardwoods. The fella in the video did a great job of reducing the variables of his experiment but he neglected material composition and overlooked the screws applications. Don't believe everything you see or read on the internet... I'm a French model.

Dan or Eric? What Propane model do you have? DXH40FA? Please say it's that one and you are about to post your video of it? If your review is positive and I find the right price, this Dewalt Heater will do a great job of keeping my other Dewalt tools warm (while I'm using them).

    Dewalt heaters

Looks like the TIA boys got their hands on a few of these on the You Tube already.
  7. $470.20 http://www.homedepot.com/p/DEWALT-10-in-Jobsite-Table-Saw-with-Rolling-Stand-DWE7491RS/204512007?keyword=DWE7491 Looks like it ends Jan 31.
  8. Too bad they aren't bare tools. I have more M12 batteries than I know what to do with.
  9. I used my hot melt glue gun today! I used it to temporarily glue some blocks to some trim to aid in clamping while the "real glue" setup. Tomorrow I will hopefully knock the temporary blocks off. Needless to say the glue gun worked just fine.
  10. http://www.amazon.com/Rockwell-RK9002-JawHorse-Sheetmaster-48-inch/dp/B005BTLXI8/ref=pd_rhf_gw_p_d_1 $175.99 on Amazon
  11. I doesn't look like your model is serviceable. The brushes are internal to that motor. You would have to pry it open to get to the brushes. Anybody else know better?
  12. It is starting to look like a Dr. Evil labrotory.
  13. Yup. Recheck your connections.
  14. You could benefit from a Home Depot 123 book. They are cheap and a good reference for the DIYer.
  15. DR99 - how long have you been in Michigan? You are pretty much surrounded by Canada. Heck, you have to head south to see the Windsor ballet.
  16. I just installed about 40 switch plates today with it and after about 10 plates I see the value of the gyro. Squeezing a trigger fatigues my arm and hand after repeated uses. With the gyro I'm just holding a tool. Yes there is a trigger to engage the gyro but really it is just a button. If Dewalt changed the giant button to some kind of sensor that recognizes the user is holding it than this would make the screw driver even easier to use.

  18. I let my wife use my strapshot nail gun when we we're building our deck. It's hers now.

    Dewalt heaters

I'm in the market for a new propane heater and came across these bad boys. http://www.dewalt.com/tool-categories/construction-heaters.aspx Anyone familiar with these?
  20. They say that back in the day "it was simpler times". Nothing about that looks simple! Beautiful!
  21. DJ - This is what works for me. I blow as many leaves into the yard from the flower beds and bark mulched areas as I can. Then I ride over them and mulch them into little pieces. I then do a second pass with the bags installed and collect the leaves that way.
