  1. You have to remember the standard line to tell the wife. I picked them up on on sale for $75. They are coming out with a newer model but I can make do with the old style.
  2. LEt me think about this one. I have the DW780 great saw. I also have the DeWalt 7 1/4 20volt nice saw and I have the Kapex a fantastic miter saw. As much as I'm a Red fan I would have to go with the Yellow. A 780 without the cord.
  3. I like the Hole hawg I have the standard chuck I thought about getting the quick connect but I have so many different bits I would have limited my choices. The flood is really nice and the fact you can run it on AC is really great.
  4. I gather all the kids together today to tell them that they will be moving out of their Tough boxes to a new home soon.
  5. Dude just remember when they say 45min they mean it and if its hot out it could be faster. Just mix what you think you can use in that time.
  6. Awesome work Carl. Now just think if you got on one of those HGTV show you would have been done in 3 days. Good luck and keep us posted
  7. I just used my son's EVERLAST PowerMIG 275P that thing is sweet. Also check out ChuckE2009 on youtube.
  8. I take it that you are talking about backer rod when you say 1/2" round foam stuff. Yes you can do that or the can foam will work. As for the base board set a couple of carpenter pencils on the slab to use as spacers then set your baseboard on top of them to set the gap. Make sure to prime all side of the baseboards then paint
  9. Welcome to the CREW! Enjoy your tile here and we will gladly help you spend your money and make all your tool dreams come true.
  10. You can. Like I said Make it easy on yourself the art is in the finishing.
  11. It really doesn't matter you could have gotten 12' sheets of drywall but they are a pain to handle. Make it easy on yourself the art is in the finishing.
  12. If it was 8ft walls I would have said go vertical so you would have not had any but joints. I can tell from the pics that you have 9 or 10ft walls. As for finishing the but joints you just have to work your dud out and feather it wide,10 to 12in's
  13. The Festool road show rolled in to my town today 15min from my house so I had to go just to look at the new stuff. I had made up my mind that I was not going to buy anything but after getting my hands on the new HK 55 Cross-Cutting Track Saw PLUS-FSK I had to have one. Lets just say I will have one by November. When I first saw this on line I thought it was kind of hokey but, after using it all that went away. It is pricey but I feel well worth the cash. It will find it's way into my tool budget for November .
  14. It makes me sick when I see the deals that you guys get at Lowes and Home Depot. Im lucky if they take 10 cents of a box of nails.
  15. As much as I like to cut the cord I love the fact that I can plug my FST track saw in to the Dust Extractor. That is the biggest problem I see with most cordless track saws. They all kick up a ton of dust.
  16. I feel like it is just another way to sell more tools. It is not like there was a large outcry for it.
  17. Sorry I misunderstood your question. 1st check your setting on youtube if that is not the problem you have to find some place to host your file then link it to here.
  18. Copy the link from the address bar and past it in here
  19. I live in Maryland and we get some high temps but it is only for a few months. It has an insulated ceiling and a reflective roof and that should help. I got a great deal on it 7 x 14 with 16" on center floor and wall and a bunch of other extras for $3,200 I can over look the black.
  20. Not a power tool but it will be my rolling tool box. I will pick it up Wednesday .
  21. I'm not a big fan of airless sprayers but the time and money it will save me will be well worth it. I will only use it 4 or 5 times a year.
