  2. Yea we have it. The base unit the stand alone red light is $150 and you need that to sync everything up
  3. My wife and kids don't even try to buy me tools. This morning I got a card with a picture of my gift because my wife though you could just call and order it she had no idea that it had to be made.
  4. When I was in high school I worked in a body shop and a lot of the guys had the Eastwood hammer and dolly's. They would always say " its how you use the tool not who makes it that works the metal". These guys were old school they still did lead work.
  5. Merry Christmas to the crew. Hope everyone has a great day
  6. My 1st wife wanted a wood casket for her funeral and if I remember it was $2,500 and that was 22 years ago.

    To the Crew

I would like to take this time to thank the CREW for another great year here on the TIA forum. Dan and Eric provide us a fantastic place to come and hang out and talk tools and make new friends. I have to say the the TIA forum is one of the best tool forums on the web and what makes it the best forum the CREW. With out you guys this would be a lonely place. Merry Christmas CREW and a Fantastic New Year.
  8. If I had a dollar for every phone call I have gotten over the years that have started with "My wife and I or My husband and I thought that we could do this" My two favorite jobs that I looked at where a kitchen and a bathroom. The bathroom job was one of those jobs were you just scratch or head and think to yourself what are they thinking. A family of 4 and they gut the only bathroom in the house and after 3 weeks they have leaking plumbing and an out of level tub and a leaning toilet plywood floor and open stud walls. Then when you tell them all of it is wrong and has to come out and it will take me and a helper or two five 10 hour days maybe I can get it done in a week and they should go stay at a hotel. All of a sudden I’m the bad guy. Then when you give them the price they give you that you are out of you Freaken mind look. The kitchen job was 2 women that started to gut the kitchen 3 weeks before Christmas and had bought an Ikea kitchen that had 32 cabinets that had to be put together and hung. Walls, floor, plumbing and electric all done in 2 weeks so they could have their Christmas party. This kitchen was large and the worst part was I got to laughing about the time frame they asked me to leave.
  9. This looks like something you would see on shark tank. Great idea and execution but knowing how I am with safety guards it would be laying in a corner somewhere after a day.
  10. You have to be kidding me why would anybody think that.

    New saw?

The only saw I can think of with 2 18Volt batteries is the Makita 18V X2 LXT Lithium‑Ion (36V) Brushless Cordless 7‑1/2" Dual Slide Compound Miter Saw.
  12. You will find out that you will use it a lot more then you thought
  13. I have the standard M18 Hole Hawg with the standard chuck and not the quick connect. I choose the standard chuck because I have so many different bits I can use them all. I have used everything from 1/2" bit up to a 6" hole saw with no problem. It all boils down to what you are going to use it for.
  14. I have had good luck selling them on eBay. I have gave some to the CREW that are looking for them. Then if they are still sitting around for 6 or so mounts they go in the recycle bin.
  15. The worst part is the paint code is on the car and when the guy mixed it he should have seen the the color was off.
  16. it depends Most guys I know charge between $1,500 and $3,200 around here where I live. I have no clue what they would charge in Chicago.
  17. Just picked one up at the HD with 2 9.0 Battery's. I hope to put it to use this week.
  18. That Senco compressor is a work horse. A friend of mine has been using one forever and it keeps on going.
  19. To rich for my blood. I have the CJ10 and my Ridgid 10 gallon wheel barrel. I find myself using less air and more battery power nailers.
  20. Here is a short video that someone posted on Instagram. https://www.instagram.com/p/BMozJWND8zC/?taken-by=krugerconstruction
