  1. nice tools, seeing it for the first time
  2. I think it can be some limited edition tools
  3. Irish edition :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
  4. What tools are looking for? Makita, Milwaukee, Dewalt, Bosch?
  5. If you live in U.S. buy Milwaukee, but not buy it in Europe If you are in Europe just buy Makita or Bosch. Ridgid ir USA Ryobi and Ridgid, Ryobi and Milwaukee belongs for TTI company so it`s same company, but different lines of products. If you are looking for 18V line then Makita is best for you. If you are looking 10.8 - 12 V line then buy Bosch.
  6. I know much of peoples who use Metabo and they are telling that new Metabo tools suck because of they poor quality. If you thinking about Metabo just buy Ryobi ir Ridgid. For working only in house you don`t need festool. If you wish something more professional as ridgid or ryobi then by Makita or Milwaukee (if you buy it in U.S. not in EU)
  7. I can bet that you need to change brush holder unit. Replacement part number is 638500-6 price in eBay is about 11 USD. It`s easy to change and cheap to buy
  8. Your connecting wing is 1/2 size? When you remove chuck from drill in most cases is to size of shafts for chuck holding. Size must be 1/2 3/8 if yes you just need to find drill that hold chuck like one in my attached photo. When you remove chuck and put your bit ( That strange think to make table work) you will get space between your bit and drill housing and it will work when you fix drill to not move. When you know shaft you need diameter you can find drill for it very easy You have antique tool - don`t trow it away I think that will help.
  9. It`s not just mechanical stop. It`s one connector missing. Your toll will work, but you can broke your battery because 3 rd connect shows your toll when battery is low to not make it empty.
  10. 110V charger will not work with 230V it will be big booom! and some burned parts. You can buy not working 230 V charger and try to change transformer. As you can see they are different. I think is only 50 percentage to work, but is worth to try
  11. I attached spare parts view for both models HR2470 if brushes was flowing it can be not only that problem because contact with carbon brushes housing and is located in motor housing. Check wires in switch because some times for this model is problem with wire and switch contact. Also you can check gear housing if you not afraid You need to check parts 23; 25; 90; if they are worn out hammer will not hold power when drilling. And in motor housing you need to check field contact. To do that you need to remove field by unscrewing screws Number 67 and taking out field. BHR242 accepts 18V DC current. You can check if switch is working because with this model is not much problems. This model have big problem with parts 32; 56; if you need to change them (normally they broke apart) please look for changed part number because it`s new parts for this tim of gear from Makita. Old gears not working properly for long time. If you need spare parts code write me PM and I will send them to you in PDF
  12. All is better to have someone else to blame
  13. Maybe service guy told how it did that? Because I was working in power tools service for 4 years and I love do that with hammer
  14. You need to place bit in vise and hit to collet with hammer or something similar. After few hit it will fall out. And use proper bit for this tool because I think it stuck of bad bit. If you have another two hand you can give pliers for one person to hold bit and then put wrench on assy and hit wrench with hammer to pull bit out. Sorry for my English, but I can`t write better

    Makita td090dwe

It`s a new tool smell. Or check if you not using to hard - don`t forget that this is 10,8 V tool TD090 is a great tool and normally they last for very long
  16. If you need really tough tool buy Hilti, but I think Dewalt is very good. And if you need big line for 18 V tools just buy Makita
  17. Andrius

    Board Cutter

Looks very nice. I love Makita tools

    RoboPro

Makita robot?! When it will be available for sell? i need it
  19. 10,8 V brushless and with 4 Ah it`s perfect i think. I love Makita tools.
  20. I`m Makita fan but bosch boxes are more trusted for me. Makpac is nice and you can fit them to your tool, but sometimes it` hard to open them and that`s sucks.
  21. If you will read manual you will find that you can`t leave battery in tool for long time and if battery sits for if I good remember 6 month you need to charge it and not to leave longer. Dead battery's are changed under warranty in Lithuania so it`s problem only if your battery broke down after years or more.
  22. You will receive not genuine battery for low value, but that battery will be made not as good as original. And if that battery will not be good for example will rise voltage and will bur circuit board of your drill I think you will not get warranty.
