  1. It is BigMike. I have used that thing to jack up my truck, jack up my house to sister joists. If it can be jacked I have jacked it with that puppy.
  2. Had me rolling! We must shop at the same tool store.
  3. I know a ton of guys that have had all of their tools lifted while we were on the job. I personally had a brand-damn-new Dewalt 18v recip taken out of the bed of my truck while working on a school project this past summer. Hurts big time!
  4. Here are the pics of the bench I was talking about. This is more of a test of my posting right side up photos haha!
  5. Very cool! I could see this on the bottom of the tough box cart with trim tools in the upper boxes.
  6. I agree Robert, it's nice to have a place like this for like minded people. It's like therapy for my tool addiction!
  7. How do you like the jet clamps? I have a couple irwins, need to expand and those look nice. Very jealous of that Freud light, that thing is awesome!
  8. Welcome Paul! I am new here myself. It is a great place and there is plenty of Dewalt love. Have fun
  9. Sounds perfect for my one car shop.
  10. I like the small size of that. How much and how's it working? I'm looking at something small like that. I have a 175,000 but but it's just huge!
  11. Holy crap! From the thumbnail I was thinking that sucks. It wasn't till I clicked the picture and you can scale the size with the guy standing there DAAAAAAMN!
  12. I remember going to the dealership after we bought my wife's van. We were in for some recall work and I told the guy why don't you cut me a key while I'm here just to have one. Not a problem he said. 100 bucks for the key and 125 to program it. I almost fainted! Technology is great but dang!
  13. I think the concept is cool, but they try to make it look like using a pencil and tape at the same time is damn near impossible. I have been measuring and marking for so long that I think getting used to using this would slow me down considerably. I would be willing to try one, just a bit skeptical.
  14. That's a true testament to the magnet right there. And you were not being a bonehead you were just being a good product tester.
  15. It's crazy to see how far they have come with cordless power in the last several years.

I have a buddy who moved there to be a paramedic. He says it's not so bad, he says the job is just a chauffeur for seniors with medical supplies haha
  18. It already looks awesome. That is a very cool piece.
  19. I did. The top was a left over from a hospital job I was on. It's solid as a rock. Pretty sure it could survive a direct hit from a missle! Lol. I will get some other pics of it tomorrow and post them. The shelf is removable and the two bottom sections of plywood are on hinges to store whatever fits. I hate dead space.
  20. When I was in my 2-car garage/shop I used a Dayton 175,000 btu torpedo. It could be -15 outside and I could have that garage pumping at 85+ if needed. For this smaller shop I am looking into Something ceiling mounted as I don't have much storage for the summer when it's not needed.
  21. All of the lithium ion kits I have owned since the big reds have lasted far longer. Better and better as the technology developed.
  22. The Bosch is awesome! My only complaint with it is that it's a bit on the loud side, but its no big deal. I have used it to do oak and bamboo stair nosings to PT 4x4's and it doesn't skip a beat.
  23. Haven't used those before but that's a steal! I guess sometimes it pays to go shopping with the wife haha.
