  1. They are back up and running, would love to have you join. I learned so much from the folks there, plus they have an awesome pattern library and a whole section to instructional videos. You can also check out Steve Goods Pattern Library - http://www.stevedgood.com/catalog/index.php - there is also a forum there, but I don't spend much time there.
  2. I have plans to build a smaller version for the Grandson at some point. Looking forward to see your updates.
  3. Pretty piece of machinery for sure. I am guess no worries about kick-back on that thing. Wonder what the price of that saw blade would be?
  4. I'm hoping DeWalt will come out with an 18 gauge Brushless Nailer too. Looking forward to your next video on this nailer.
  5. Agreed, his videos are pretty awesome. Loved his April Fools video he did, taking a fun jab at Steve Ramsey from WWMM.
  6. I'm finally 100% DeWalt Brushless now, and I'm hoping for a 4" Brushless, since I don't own any grinder at the moment.
  7. Ah yes! Purple Power, that's what I use to strip the cheap looking chrome parts that come in my scale model kits, soak them overnight and the next I'm left with clean white plastic parts.
  8. Best 3 years of my life, I did PC repair, and small business networking support. No, I did not make the big bucks, but after rent and bills, I cleared between $500 and $1500 a month. I lived in a 1 bedroom duplex, but honestly I spent most of my free time in the corner tavern, having drinks and playing darts.
  9. I am looking to have it done by a local place, I been researching a few places, and have to down to 2 companies.
  10. Well, my only choice now is to do a complete tear-out. My boy has been working on his truck, and had a major fluid leakage. Although 2 huge bags of oil dry cleaned up the mess, we have decided that we will replace with concrete. If you read my post in the thread, "What did you get today" you will know that I am proud of my boy, for taking the incentive to fix his vehicle, even going has far as going to the pick n' pull for parts. I'm not a mechanic, but I do have experience in doing body work, so I plan on giving him a hand with that project.
  11. Whoa bud, was not looking to start a war man, I was simply letting the crew know that I was having some issues with my computer, and I might not be around for a bit. I been using computers sine 1984, and been in the IT field since 1993, and I could care less what anyone uses, I use what works for my work flow. By the way, "professional" equipment, does not run on Windows, but UNIX, which is my specialty.
  12. Yup, it is the 790. I was debating getting the Hammer Drill version of the kit, however I really do not have a need for it.
  13. Yes, he bought the new set lol, and he gets the one he took.
  14. Good Day Crew! Ok, a quick story. My boy took it upon himself to "put his dirty dick beaters" on my DeWalt DCD780. He just purchased his first vehicle, and while I think it's awesome that he is taken upon himself to fix the problems with it, using YouTube, and a Chiltons Repair manual. What is not cool, is him taking my brand new "hardly used" DCD780, and getting it covered in grease. I'm not a mechanic, and I bought these tools to be used in my "clean" wood working shop, and jobs around the house. So a short story long, he inherited the DCD780, and the DCF885, and I purchased this wonderful Brushless kit.
  15. I did not purchase it, but the fine folks here, voted me has the "Member of the Month". Look for a video to be posted soon.
  16. Yeah, don't think I would want to venture into re-wiring the furnace lol. Any suggestions on brands of dehumidifiers? Any to avoid? Any features to look for?
  17. Nice scrolling! nicely put together with the backing and the lace. You should stop by the Scroll Saw Village, it's like TIA, but for Scrollers, great bunch of folks over there.
  18. Squirrel Piss.. Sorry, just a saying some beer snobs I know call fizzy yellow beer
  19. Thanks, Ya no worries on how long it too, wasn't worried knew Dan would get on them lol.
