  1. TIA and the #tiacrew taking over the tool world, one brand at a time!
  2. Good Day Crew! It arrived, my Forum Member of the Month Giveaway! A BIG thanks to the crew for voting for me, Dan and Eric for creating a great place for us folks to hang out, and DeWalt for putting up the prize. Looking forward to putting the nailer to work. Video coming soon. -Steven
  3. Napalm!!!!!! But yeah, F*** ants, especially those tiny little piss ants, than invade our kitchen beginning of every summer.
  4. Good Day Crew! My main workshop is in the basement, typical concrete floor, with cinder block walls, that I will be painting at some point. I don't have a huge problem with humidity, or dampness, however you can feel it at times. Currently I'm using those disposable hanging damp-rid bags, and damp-rid tubs, which usually fill up in 2 weeks. I am looking for some suggestions, recommendations, and ideas to keep the humidity down in the workshop. Appreciate any advice, -Steven
  5. Non-Alcoholic Sweet Tea both Hot and Cold, and Gallons of Water..
  6. Too bad it doesn't run iOS, I would order it for sure. Heck, even if it ran FFOS, anything but Android.
  7. Polish cannon, and a flaming tennis ball.
  8. Bourbon on the rocks, or a Samuel Smith Nut Brown Ale. IF at the hockey game, Molsen or LaBatts
  9. Ya, his channel is pure inspiration. Some stuff is a bit over the top, but thats cool with me. Look at some of his "mellow" videos, where he explains his thought process, good stuff for sure. He is the true meaning of Just Do It!!!!
  10. Yeppers, I have my baby back lol... One thing I can say I love, Apple, and OS X. Command + R on start up, select my Time Machine backup, a few hours later BAM, back to exactly where I was before the crash. It ended up being $128USD out-the-door, plus they gave me 1/2 off memory to max it out, so I went from 4gig to 16gig for $48, (4 x 4gig sticks). It's like a new machine, should get me through until I order my new one, once Intel gets their act together and ship their new processors. I know a lot of folks, have a negative on Apple, but you pay a premium for quality and support, plus has a photo and video editor, that tried just about every piece of software, none compared to the ease of use, and speed has Final Cut Pro X. I kind of look at it like tools, sure you can get a drill from Harbor Freight, but does it compare to a Milwaukee or DeWalt? For the Festool users here, is a Festool worth the price you paid for it, compared to other tools in the same category? Any who, just happy to have my 6 year old iMac back up and running
  11. The Ad banners on this site, says it June 21st
  12. I use to watch Nacar until it became to PC. Now I just go to local tracks. I like dirt track racing the best, especially sprint cars. We do go to the drag strip a couple times a year when the have special events.
  13. I plan on getting a miniature metal lathe for my scale model hobby. Looking forward to seeing what you make.
  14. Sorry have not been around much, I'm just now getting my Mac into the shop.
  15. I might be ok, for now. I was able to get the base image on it, now I will see if I can do a restore from my time machine backup. I just know they are going to announce new hardware at WWDC in June, so if I can get to work till than I will be ok, even if I just have to use the base image. I won't be able to edit videos, but at least I can get online. Good thing I have good backups of everything. for those that suggested a Windows machine, thanks but No lol. I spent 15 years supporting Windows, I don't need the headaches. This Mac has been good to me, this is the first issue I have had in 6 years, and it's a hardware issue with HDD. Will keep you posted, fingers crossed...
  16. Fingers crossed its just the HDD, good thing if it is, I have a current back up.
  17. Good Day Crew! Well, my iMac just died! It couldn't have come at worst time, has we just had to buy a new lawn mower $350, and pay $475 to get our refrigerator repaired. So, I might not be around much till I can get it repaired, or buy a new one. I have $800 saved up, has I was planning on replacing it at the end of summer. But a new one will cost 1,800. I just gave my iPad to the Grandson for his birthday, so all I have left is my tiny iPhone lol. Has the old saying goes, when it rains it pours. -Steven
  18. I been wanting to add a DeWalt track saw to my arsenal in the workshop. Especially for cutting down sheets of top grade Baltic Birch ply for Scroll Saw Projects. It's true that you can buy pre-cut 12x12 inch pieces, but it's almost 5x the cost. I do have a table saw, that will do the job, but I don't think it's all that safe.
  19. He just did a "Sponsored" video on a flying machine. I love how he shows the failed attempts, and dos thought process on working through issues.
