  1. Depends If you al ready own Makita tools or plan on owning Makita tools been in one eco system is pretty handy. Having said that if you own neither and you want to pick one I would still go Makita purely because their batteries are cheaper.
  2. Oh come on Dewalt!!! I want mine now sick of waiting.
  3. Yeah in a way you kinda answered your own question its for the Plumbers, electricians, drywall guys for mixing mud market.
  4. If you can afford them look at Wera Jokers.
  5. Yeah its got to be the Dewalt.
  6. Yeah they are great saws I was petting a 661 today at the dealers
  7. With my tools I know their limitations but I dont mother them the only time I clean my tools is if something oily or very dusty then I clean them. What I hate is getting my chainsaw covered in sitka spruce resin all over it is a real pain to clean it is so sticky the same with Monkey trees. But when it comes to my old Stanley bench planes I keep them clean and oiled mostly to prevent rust etc.
  8. I'd also add I wish the the saw came with a mains power adaptor but wait it doesn't run on 120v because it runs of 240?...(according to Dewalt) OK but what about us European buyers were already on the 240v system.
  9. True also Ego needs to drop price on their high ah battery its too expensive considering what is coming out from Milwaukee etc
  10. Agree about the 40v, I run gas equipment but I have to say I am very interested in the flexvolt garden tools that will come in future it will be then that I make a dive into the battery garden stuff.
  11. At first I found flexvolt such an odd ball for no reason but the more I look at them the more I like them, I'm picking up the circular saw and recip saw once its out and once they release an impact and xrp drill in that line up its goodbye 20v for me. Its no conspiracy that they will end the 20v line up I reckon maybe not in a year or so but they will.
  12. They are still on Pre order here in Ireland come on Dewalt, I know I could pre order and wait but I want to walk into a store and feel/handle the tools first before dropping the ponies.
  13. If you want to sure but personally I wouldn't, I would try out other brands like dewalt of Makita.
  14. Yeah Milwaukee bits arent that great Dewalt or Makita make better ones

Just remember you wont get any warranty with this tool. I would wait till its been officially released in the US before making a purchase. But if warranty means nothing have away at it hoss.
  16. Very Nice. love the tools layout.
  17. Just the Stanley and dewalt ones are most popular but they are mostly just a big empty pocket with smaller pockets im looking for one with just pockets on both sides.
  18. Had a day off today and I decided to clean up the workshop/garage and I was going through my toolbox well I say toolbox its actually just a plain box with tools thrown in. So I made a decision on buying a toolbag for all the hand tools that I use not every tool just the ones I use, so I started looking at the Vetos and they seem to be marketed around electricians and HVAC techs which I am none off but I do like the upright hand tool storage. My question is does anyone here use one just for storing hand tools and is there cheaper and similar toolbags on the market.?
  19. Oh very much so its more like a home cinema projector thingy
  20. Dude even in my Daughters school there isnt any board just a projector screen and a laptop.
  21. The compactness of an impact is a plus though.
  22. Interesting Id love for impact drivers to become more quieter and yes I know you could use a drill driver but the functionality of an impact is great.
  23. Quick questions guys. Did Stanley get rid of the Hi vis tape on the Fatmax extreme for the normal yellow tape? Reason I ask is because I was in the store today waiting to be served and was looking at the tapes and it seems the hi vis green is gone?
