  2. I find Mafell to be better value than festool, friend of mine has a Mafell Mt55 and its a really nice track saw.
  3. I don't have a picture but I recently brought sandpaper of various grits really cheap and it was nothing short of pure rubbish, I would have been better off using sugar it was awful stuff it went straight in the bin stick with 3M or any other name brands.
  4. Since your in France have a look at toolstop.co.uk. I find them decent price wise.
  5. I work with in the tree business so working with chainsaws everyday, so I chip in my advice. If you do decide on a chainsaw no matter what brand it is its all about the service and which is the closest service center, for me Stihl is only 5 minutes drive from me the Husquvarna is a 20 minute drive from me so I picked Stihl just in case I ever need a spare part etc. Secondly judging by the size of your property it really doesn't look like you need a big saw something in the 35-40cc range is plenty look at the Husquvarna 135 its not a pro saw but its got plenty of grunt in it. Ok I have to be a safety Sally here if you do get a chainsaw I suggest getting a pair of chainsaw chaps at most you dont need full trousers just the chaps will do and you will have them for a long time as long as you don't rip them. If you are on a bit of a budget take a look at a brand called Echo they also make good saws for the cash. OK one more thing since its going to be used mainly for some property clearing Id suggest running the saw on Aspen/Motomix for piece of mind.
  6. Yip I always pronounce Knipex with the K its what the Germans say so Im gonna go with them. Other reason is its a German word so they use a different pronounce system than the English.
  7. NIce one im putting together a small chainsaw tools toolbox and I do like that box whats the dimensions?
  8. Not only that but we have much higher pricing so pricing becomes the bigger factor than a wide rage of tools.
  9. Yeah sure is I brought my DCF895 from a Scottish store and I saved myself €200 than buying it here in Ireland. Milwaukee stuff is even more costly.
  10. I do like that mode 1. Did an online check off a local Dewalt dealer near me, €600 for the impact and two 5ah batteries ouch! I be shopping elsewhere
  11. Nice impact, I just dont know if its worth the upgrade from my 895. Its more of an upgrade itch than anything.
  12. A single 5ah battery in Ireland is around €109 ( $121 USD )
  13. Well guys I don't know if this is classed as woodworking despite wood been used but here my mini project new scales for my edc. Mahogany scales with 4 coats of boiled linseed oil.
  14. So is it worth putting my DCF895M2 up for sale for this new sucker, I got the itch coming on and it needs soothing ;-)
  15. Workers stepping over logs and branches without the chain break on, One guy had a very close call as he stepped over a biggish log he tripped and his reaction make him squeeze the trigger cutting right into his ppe. Lets just say his tan never came back that day. Oh I also add people who don't put their extension cords away properly and just throw them in a big pile gets on my goat.
  16. You could get he Knipex Installation tool its like a 6 in 1 http://www.knipex.com/index.php?id=1216&L=1&page=group_detail&parentID=1363&groupID=2036

  18. I had to do aerial rescue when I done my Cs38,39 training. Iv been climbing myself for years until I went for the training Cert but Its a different story rescuing someone out of a tree in a suspended position. It can also happen if your legs, arms etc were pinned against something for a period of time.
  19. Thats some good work, looking forward to the finished photos.
