  1. Merry Christmas everyone. Thanks for welcoming me into the fold!
  2. Congrats Comp56. Well deserved!
  3. That sucks. We just went through a similar scenario over Thanksgiving. Had to close out the accounts and start from scratch. Like you said this is becoming all too common. It's more surprising to find someone that hasn't been a victim of fraud. My wife and I have taken measures to limit electronic payments and pay cash whenever we can but still manage to be victimized.
  4. I can't even imagine the utility bills. I would be even worried about water and moisture getting into the drywall. There has to be mold in the place at this point.
  5. Yes, that's the best part of the forum. Honest and helpful info with no ego's to deal with. I'm going to finish the rest of the trim work once we get through Christmas and then start dealing with the floor over New Years.
  6. This is what happens when you're on the list. You get the Anus backpack. lol http://distractify.com/humor/2015/12/07/mariam-have-a-very-unmerry-xmas
  7. Very cool. I've been thinking about building something like that off the back of my garage for all of the yard stuff.
  8. How did they not notice that was something was wrong. Just on a noise level alone they must be able to hear a cricket farting out in the grass.
  9. Saw it Sat morning. It was awesome. Exceeded all expectation. Probably the best in the series next to Empire.
  10. I was going to put down hardibacker regardless. Then use the leveler if needed. I imagine you can't put the leveler over the existing hardwood that's there now.
  11. Yes, I saw the T-Lock system on some of the videos I watched. Didn't realize HD had something similar. I'll go check it out. No problem on the paint color. Glad I could help. .
  12. That thing is pretty cool. I could see why you bought it. If you're in the Northeast any time soon feel free to swing by and give me a demo.
  13. Hold on. So there is no sheathing at all on the gables? It's just the rigid foam board?
  14. Yes, it was about to high center and then it would have needed to resort to a rocking motion to get free. That would have been awful...lol
  15. Floors look great. Nice idea on re purposing the scraps on the workbench. The material is pretty hard and impervious to staining. Just don't get any standing water on it.
  16. Congrats to all of the winners. They pulled my old YouTube screen name "Dirk Diggler". I recently changed it to "Streeter's Garage" after my daughter asked me about the name and my wife giving me grief about it.
  17. I would have counter offered with a VCR and told him it was worth $1500
  18. My current favorite is a wrap I get from my local guy. Called "The ,Jefferson" Roast beef Turkey Bacon Swiss Mayo Lettuce Tomato So good.
  19. What's the best way to check for flatness? The room is essentially 12x7. My thought is to take the 4' level and make sure it's level. Once I establish level, I then take a piece of material no thicker 1/8" and see if I can slide it under the level in various locations on the floor? Any dips will then be identified right?
  20. There was a lot of consolidation within the forum about 4-6 weeks ago. A lot of sub forums were eliminated or merged. Threads are still out there but may not be in the sun that you remember Easiest way to locate something that you commented on is go to "My Content" and it will generate a listing of everything you posted in.
