  1. This is correct, and the roof manufactures agree and may choose to not warranty the roof if cut with a grinder or saw, read the fine print. Manufactures recommend using their color matched paint on all cut edges to reduce the risk of rust. That said I've done a few metal roofs recently and these are the cutting tools I used: needed something like 85 charged 4.0 batteries per cut lol Midwest...the best snipes PERIOD. BUTTA CUTA (dont hate on the B&D it was $20 and it works like a champ) for the quick trim to fit cuts in place. most resent roof
  2. LOLOLOLOLOLOL, Sir my Impact driver is NOT a Drill and takes offence for you calling it one..... The 887 has 3 modes and a trigger... I got fine tune covered!
  3. Looks neat and all but it's still "just" an 887 with bluetooth, can't make it stronger than 887 just slower/weaker.... needs "overclocking" or "developer mode"..... that would be cool as hell and I'd buy....
  4. Saw them all at Lowe's today.... Spitting image of their sister's... Other than the battery slot being "squaredish" on the sides instead of the rounded angle like DeWalt's.... And yes the Hitachi framer was on display too..... Pretty sweet looking nailer.
  5. Stuart did a preview of them http://toolguyd.com/bostitch-20v-brushless-cordless-nailers/ While virtually identical to dewalt the batteries are said to be incompatible, probably minor plastic trimming could allow fitment, but who knows at this point.
  6. Saw those cooler kits at my Lowes yesterday too.... not going to get one but interested in seeing what they go for around BF.
  7. 7 1/4 LEFT blade!!!! Coming in November $119 Side note.... For sale DeWalt DCS391 lololol.
  8. IF... IF 4.0 then 8.0 would be in the same form factor of the 6.0, ie 10 cell 20700 vs Milwaukee 15 cell 18650.... Marketing may get a one up but I see DeWalt with the real world advantage. Don't get me wrong I'd rather have it be 5/10.0.... imagine a 5.0 slim pack!!!!!
  9. That is a "fast" black charger the other's are the 101and the double, the 107 is the slow one.
  10. So is anyone gunna comment on the fact that it's a black top and not yellow? DeWalt identifies their premium batteries by making them yellow topped, could this mean there is a future 4 or 5ah slim pack in the future?
  11. It does. Rented a Husqvarna gas monster with water hook up to cut out for a basement egress window and not a bit of noticeable dust.
  12. True, I think I've only seen 3 other power tools AvE seemed to gush over, Makita corded grinder, Hilti drill, and a pre chinese owned Milwaukee 14.4v drill. Probably a couple others but those seemed to be 4 stand-outs.
  13. https://m.lowes.com/pd/DEWALT-4-5-in-20-volt-Max-Volt-Cordless-Angle-Grinder/1000247587 Here ya go.... Ya'know for your "friend".
  14. XR kit with recip.... https://www.lowes.com/pd/DEWALT-XR-4-Tool-20-Volt-Max-Lithium-Ion-Li-ion-Cordless-Combo-Kit-with-Soft-Case/1000208109
  15. Become right handed? lol Just be glad that ALL the good circ saws are made for you lefty's don't get me wrong I like the worm drives but hey.
  16. https://www.lowes.com/pd/DEWALT-XR-4-Tool-20-Volt-Max-Lithium-Ion-Li-ion-Cordless-Combo-Kit-with-Soft-Case/1000247589 Lowes is stocking DeWalt's XR kits...... Brushless runtime/power and very nice tools, I'd add a couple high cap batteries.
  17. This was posted over at Toolguyd's forum..... https://discuss.toolguyd.com/t/new-hitachi-miter-saaw/923 also has an amazon product page link but it's still not available.
  18. @Framer joe on the jigsaw you can get all artsy and stuff, with the recip you can got bat shit crazy with demo. I've never personally used anything from them but Lowe's and Menards stock em.
  19. @Framer joe they also make recip blades too....
  20. Better is subjective in this case.... I might get it but I'm not in any rush, I have a brand new unused 887 just sitting on my workbench.
  21. You don't know what you're missing, it's a night and day difference! I use mine more than any other tool.
  22. Just get the 887..... Seeing that 885 is killing me.....
  23. Technically... Yes, though shouldn't ever happen, but I have heard a story about 6 hours after a hurricane that code compliance was issuing tickets... So when government gets involved anything can and probably will happen.
