  1. I'm interested in getting a pruning blade. I got this row of bushes in my back yard that gotta be trimmed every year. I'll have to look onto Bosch blades some more. I read daredevil blades on your picture and was instantly interested because I've used the spade bit daredevils and they work great. The self feed function is an amazing feature.
  2. More specifically his reasoning was because it is cheaper to manufacture in China it costs less to have higher quality tools. Something along those lines. In a way it kinda makes sense. There can be exceptions but in general when I think China I don't think quality.
  3. I've used milwaukee blades and they work like a dream. Trimmed a whole tree with one ax blade and it still had most of the blade coating left and was ready for more work.
  4. According to a guy at work, Milwaukee tools are high quality because they are made in China. Also said DeWALT tools aren't quality because they are made in the United States.
  5. Anyone ever used Bosch reciprocating saw blades? I had no idea Bosch made them until I saw them a week or 2 ago at Menards and they intrigued me because they had a brushed metal feel instead of the typical slick painted feel that many other blades have. Felt like the aluminum on an iPhone. Never seen any reciprocating blades with a brushed finish before.
  6. do they use the 12 volt batteries? (the ones dewalt has quietly pushed to the side)
  7. I see flexvolt as more a half platform change. On the one hand your not changing much cause it still works with the 20v stuff you already got but on the other hand if you wanna use the battery in 60v mode you gotta get new tools compatible with 60v. It's not a huge deal when you own 5 flexvolt batteries but if you only own 1 then it may be an issue. I would suggest ,if anyone is contemplating getting into flexvolt, starting with either the fixed miter or the sliding miter in the kit that comes with 2 batteries and cord adapter. It's nice because you get to try out the batteries but aren't restricted to them. I also heard that dewalt is working on a 60v cord adapter but it is more difficult to make because of the 60v to 120v conversion. If one comes out I could see more people converting going to flexvolt. I'm guessing it won't be coming out with their first quarter releases but I could at least see it revealed at their june event.
  8. nice milwaukee kitchen radio. matches quite nicely with the microwave.
  9. according to the picture it looks like the box is picked up off the ground
  10. I would rather have a 6.5 in flexvolt than in 20v. At school we had some of the legendary dewalt 7.5 circ saws and also had a couple bosch's with the smaller blades. I found the smaller saw did a better job and was easier to use when cutting angles. The power seemed good as well. Not saying much considering my angle cutting skills aren't great. I wish they were better but I guess it just takes practice.
  11. now that's an idea. It could be handy.
  12. At least for a professional having more than one battery platform just seems normal. You got those with their 12v and 18v. You got those with 18v/20v and flexvolt. Maybe those with their 18v/20v and ope bats. Some may even have 3 or 4 platforms. @ChrisK I was kinda disappointed with the 20v circ saw when cutting an angle down the length of a stud. Took over two 1.5 bats and two 2.0 bats just to make 2 cuts. Maybe a 4.0 or 5.0 would've worked better. It does great on straight cuts.
  13. @glass 2x18 volt 10" scms. sliding compound miter saw?
  14. well Milwaukee has 5 year limited so its not too useful unless you find a factory defect right? I don't know why amazon can't have rights. Milwaukee could probably double their profits if they allow amazon to have rights.
  15. I heard the milwaukee nailers had some issues. maybe see if an authorized repair place can fix it or if they can't ask for a replacement.
  16. I dont know what milwaukee is doing with their 7-1/2 saw (I'm guessing using a 9.0 hd pack) but I doubt 20v or a less than hd m18 pack could provide the performance as one would expect with a flexvolt, m18 9.0 hd, or corded variants. I see it more likely to have a 6-1/2 flexvolt than a 7-1/2 20v. I could be wrong.
  17. I wouldn't mind a fan cooled dual port fast charger that simultaneously charges then a fan cooled 6 port fast charger that single charges but has the smart charging the 40v 6 bay charger has.
  18. I'm almost 22 and far as I know I have never had any alcohol. I may have had it cooked in food but other than that I haven't had any.
  19. Thats a cool setup. I like how the knife drops as you drop the blade. I like the remote control for the vac. Do the other buttons have a use? I hope the version of track saw for north america has the same features.
  20. that was a fast like haha
  21. I could do some stirling. It's a zillion times better than that pop garbage. I prefer stuff without lyrics when I work.
