  1. I don't know if this is new or not but looks like Bosch has entered the 300 CFM dust extractor territory. Trying to give Hilti a run for their money. I don't know of anyone else with 300 or more CFM for a dust extractor. Bosch claims they can run 2 tools on one vac. To keep OSHA compliant it would depend on the size of tool. 2 small grinders might keep compliance but 2 large grinders maybe wont.
  2. Acme is doing a 15% off deal for 2 days only. Promo code is "CRUSHED" and has a max discount of $150. It is for only one item and one use per customer. It stacks with the tough system 15% off deal which makes it a pretty nice deal if you want the ds carrier which is normally around $180-$200. You can get it for around $130 if you use these deals.
  3. Bought the tough system ds carrier. It listed on acme for a tough system 15 % off deal then was able to get another 15% off from another acme deal.
  4. @sgand2010 could also look into toughsystem. It is similar to tstak but a bit bigger and a bit tougher.
  5. That is a nice a house. The second floor above the garage is a nice feature.

The way I understood it was there are 4 speed modes then 4 specialty modes.

    NEW Hammers

    Wasn't it 14 new hammers?
  8. Ah you went with the full coverage on the brick. Sounded almost as if you were just going to give it more of a light coat of paint or something. Looks nice.
  9. I bought a box of 250 count Kreg 2-1/2 inch zinc pocket hole screws. Needing to join some 2x lumber together and I wanted to use pocket holes. 2-1/2 is the recommended length of screw to use.
  10. the grip looks new. Not quite the brushed grip but not quite the brushless grip. Maybe it is just those bottom vent thingys making the grip look different.
  11. Makita sub compact circular saw might work
  12. I have heard the Flex miter is more powerful in cordless mode from multiple sources. Maybe it is blade size or RPM?
  13. @ChrisK @khariV according to Festool's website it is the TSC55 REB that qualifies.
  14. Last I knew it has to be a new TSC55 and from an authorized retailer in any of the 3 kit configurations. I haven't seen exclusions for this model but I havent clicked the link yet.
  15. Might as well snag the 10% vac deal while your at it.
  16. @RidgidMakita have you tried the Rotex 150? That thing is a monster and built well.
  17. I have a couple 2's for light and compact then I have a handful of flex 2/6 for flex tools and runtime for 20v max tools.. I also have a handful of 5.2's from Festool for a couple cordless tools in their line I have and a few m12 2.0's for a heated jacket and stapler.
  18. Festool has a new promotion going on where if you buy a saw or router between August 1 2018 through October 31 2018 and then send in an old tool you can get $100 off. Any tool goes. No matter how small, how cheap, what brand, or what condition. Also Festool will pay shipping for the old tool. Here is the best way I have found to utilize this deal. If you go to festoolproducts.com you can get a tsc55 with metric scale for $440 and get 4 free batteries. With the new promotion you would get another $100 off which would put it at $340 You could add a charger and still be less than the DeWALT, Makita, and Festool corded/cordless models.
  19. I don't know the quality of Ryobi where you live but at least in the United States I was not impressed. I attempted to use a gas Ryobi trimmer once because the other gas trimmer I used was elsewhere. The Ryobi sprayed fuel in my face. I decided nope and drove 5 mins to get our other work trimmer that actually worked. Maybe I just had a dud or maybe it was an age of the tool thing. If yours worked for you then it might be worth fixing. If a minor issue then maybe it would be fine to fix but if it is a major problem then I would rather spend the extra money for a higher quality trimmer. If possible I would go battery power myself.
  20. so far looks like the mower requires the most power?
  21. might as well use a Procore 12 ah and a Flex 12 ah and an m18 HO 12 ah.
  22. One brand, Festool, is know for high prices but their batteries are one of the cheaper offerings in fact Bosch batteries are also consistently lower than the competition. Might be a German thing.
