  1. Haven't seen anything except a Lenox event which is owned by the parent company of DeWALT.
  2. Circular saws and rotary hammers may take a fair bit of power but I think angle grinder take more. Vacs and mowers might be up there.
  3. looks like it had better heat control than mikwaukee
  4. I just seen the other day Dan and Eric were talking about a hisky stand that takes a router. Might check into it? It was from one of their youtube videos.
  5. welcome back @SevenOddosFence
  6. I like something with a nice soft grip. If you are doing rough work you may want a milled faced hammer sometimes called checkered or waffle. For finish type work you may want a smooth faced hammer. The hammer I currently use is a stanley fatmax antivibe 22 oz hammer. The grip is a nice soft rubber and everything else is all steel which is very nice. It has both a milled faced option and a smooth faced option. I have both options. They are around $20. I feel like the price is reasonable for what you get. I personally do not like wood handle hammers or curved claws but that is just my personal opinion. Eventually I wouldn't mind trying a Martinez Titanium hammer but they are pricey. Bottom line if you can only afford one hammer you should get a 16- 20 oz hammer with a rip claw and a smooth face. If you can afford 2 hammers I would go with a 22 oz with milled face and rip claw and a 16-20 oz with a rip claw and smooth face. Any other hammer is more specialty.
  7. Chervon's most well known brands they own are Skil, Skilsaw, and Ego.
  8. SB&D brands are losing their identity. So many repeat products that look similar or have similar features. One can only hope they bring the brands back to their former glory but that is unlikely at this point unless something changes. I think the only way to save some of these brands is to go counter to SB&D's "make multiples of the same thing" philosophy, change who is in charge, or sell the brands. The least they can do is ax products they have too much of or consolidate multiples of a product into one brand. SB&D has the brands to have most any tool covered but where their main flaw is they want all the tools in all the brands.
  9. wow the picture of the underneath paint job makes it look like a new pickup. Great job.
  10. That is surprising considering Makita usually has a premium over DeWALT.

    Time Off?

My time off is usually spent here, youtube, or in the garage. I occasionally do other things but these take up most of my free time.
  12. Wow that is almost as bad as leaving the drain off completely. I don't change mine but I do go to a local guy to do mine. He is a customer first kind of guy that you know is going to do it right.
  13. Yeah building your own storage is a great idea because you can design it to fit your needs. I plan to design a charging station after i finish building my clamp rack.
  14. chargers, radios, etc. have slowly stopped supporting 12v. As of late products are slowly adding 12v support back.
  15. If your talking about a battery mower then yes but I would take the battery out first and let dry before you reinstal the battery.
  16. You would like the ct 36 or 48. they have MORE POWA!!! tm and the bluetooth kit would make work faster.
  17. Maybe @midogrumpy is not allowed to tell?
  18. How about a 60 in flexvolt widebelt sander? Powered by 6 batteries. 4 to power the sander to 240 v and 2 to power other electronics, depth adjustment, compressor and conveyor. worlds first cordless 3 phase 240v tool?
  19. Seemed like half of the "New" Craftsman tools are just recolors, slight design tweaks, and sticker changes of tools SB&D already had.
  20. The 8'ish guide rail Festool has is around $300. Makita's is just as much. DeWALT's is closer to $100.
  21. The grizzly isn't cordless and is more a diy track saw.
  22. Rougher than the Grizzly?
  23. If you buy the DeWALT use it with Festool guide rails. I think they are much better rails.
