Would typing the website into google translate work?
  2. @satchmodog besides the Kapex is there any miter saw over $1k that does not come with a stand? Makita has one which comes with a stand but I would guess without the stand it would be less than $1k.
  3. I checked their website and looks like there is a "DeWALT Technology Tour" going on in various locations in the USA throughout the year.
  4. my best guess is summer but I wouldn't throw out July and August just yet. Last year The tough in the south event was in August and there was no June event. 2 years ago the event was in June. I'm sure everyone has a list of things they want to see at it but I wonder what can realistically expect at the event. My guess at least one new battery nailer, at least one or two other 20v tools, and at least one or two flexvolt tools. Maybe they will have a couple tools that they just pulled out of nowhere that no one was expecting.
  5. @stefcl100 I like my Ego but that new multihead from Makita seems very nice. My one complaint with the Ego multihead is they moved the unlock lever which is harder to use left handed.
  6. and the hedge trimmer. It is also a brushed unit.
  7. Are the Ego snowblower and the mowers powered by one battery and switch to the second battery when the first runs out or are they in an "x2" like setup where power comes from both batteries?
  8. Maybe they have 32 each with a different bit?
  9. The Milwaukee gen 2 is outstanding beats almost everything. Then Makita came out with the x2 and that upped the Milwaukee in performance. The only downside is neither have orbital. They have corded power.
  10. corded hammer for more power? Heated handle for working in the cold?
  11. They say "time is money". Today at the end of work the 2 top guys under the boss had a talking to us newer guys about our work and stuff and one of the things that came up was we need to be faster. How do you guys work fast without reducing quality? For example, if I am painting, I don't wanna do a bad paint job on a room just so I can do it in a "fast enough" time. Also I don't wanna paint it so slow that it takes too long. They were saying even for a beginner it should not take more than double the time what an experienced worker would do it in.
  12. The new 3.0 has a yellow top. This one has a black top.
  13. Are they trying to hide something? Maybe poor quality?
  14. I included the prices. same amp hr as the standard compact pack and same price.
  15. so only the air tool line gets the Metabo HPT rebrand?
  16. You can use Makita, Festool, or Triton guide rails as well. They are essentially same rail different branding.
  17. Any DeWALT 1.5 amp hr battery I have seen has been without the fuel gauge.
  18. If it is a new in box power tool I just ship with the package visible.
  19. If Lowes goes under I'd like to see Home Depot buy the empty stores and convert them into a new line of Home Depot stores called Home Depot Pro. The standard HD could be for the average person who isn't expected to buy anything more than diy/homeowner grade stuff. The HD Pro could have all the premium stuff that contractors/tradesman want.
  20. I happened to be looking at Festool batteries and noticed the prices didn't seem outrageous. I compared them to 4 of the most popular premium brands and they were actually cheaper. Here are some comparisons of batteries. I am only including the single pack kits. I know some brands offer 2 pack kits and in some cases even more. 5 cell packs- highest amp hr Festool - 3.1 standard pack - $74 - 3.1 Ergo pack - $74 DeWALT - 3.0 - $99 - Bluetooth 2.0 - $99 Milwaukee - 2.0 - $79 Makita - 2.0 - $79 Bosch - 2.0 - $69 10 cell batteries - 5 amp hr range Festool - 5.2 - $84 - 5.2 with bluetooth - $110 DeWALT - 5.0 - $139 - 5.0 with bluetooth - $141.99 Milwaukee - 5.0 - $129 Makita - 5.0 - $129 Bosch - 5.0 - $112.99 10 cell packs - 6 amp hr range Festool - 6.2 - $100 - 6.2 with bluetooth - $125 DeWALT - 20v 6.0 - $149 - Flexvolt 6.0/2.0 - $149 Milwaukee - 6.0 - $149 Makita - 6.0 - $159 Bosch - 6.0 - $129 - Core 6.3 - $149
  21. I was looking at batteries today and saw a 1.5 amp hr DeWALT 20v max battery with a fuel gauge. Anyone else seen this? Is this a new battery? It has the black shell design which to me indicates an older design but I am not for sure. https://www.toolnut.com/dewalt-dcb201-20-v-max-lithium-ion-compact-battery-pack-1-5-ah.html

    AWS Tools

Does the Festool $80 attachment work with Makita's AWS vacs or has anyone tried?
  23. How do you like the Bostich? My experience with them is guns tended to have jamming issues. We have a few guns at work that don't get used but the compressors get used all the time. I'm told we go through a Bostich compressor once every 2 years.
