  1. A guy at work and I built this rolling welcome center cabinet to set inside a church building. It is designed for displaying things. It has a display portion in the center for books and things. I'm not entirely sure how the top will get used but I expect items like paper to be displayed on top. I expect a missionary or other special guest could use it too. If they need a table or something they could setup shop on the Welcome Center. I really like the "hidden" doors in the back. The handle looks like it is part of the casework. The second picture is a video of the doors in action.
  2. My bottle of CMT cleaner is a top contender. Using it to clean off caked on wood off my bits/blades is very nice. I sometimes I also use it to do a quick wipe on other tools/power tools that are needing cleaned.
  3. Update I think I seen the new charger is available on Acme now. @Rtorres092382 I would guess not much more than a 9.0 on the single battery fast charger.
  4. I would say the gen 2 Flexvolt should get at least the stroke length of the Makita x2, minimum of 2 speeds, and orbital with a switch to toggle on or off. The gen 2 xr 20v should keep the 4 way chuck, add a new pivoting shoe that has a 2 hinge system so a guy could pivot the shoe in any of the 4 blade orientations, and significant avt cause it currently has bad vibration.
  5. I found this. It isn't the tough system coolers but it is DeWALT's other line of coolers. Looks like new products for it are coming out in the fall. http://dewaltcoolers.com/portfolio/
  6. I wouldn't mind getting this. I'm just waiting on the new drawers.
  7. My theory as to why it does not have the 4 position is because it is a full size recip. That didn't stop them from having it on older models though which is puzzling. A full size recip isn't necessarily designed to be compact. The 4 way would be better suited on a Hackzall or Makita subcompact. I wouldn't see as much of a use if it were on the one key sawzall or x2 recip.
  8. woo hoo flexvolt represent. It may be big but it doesn't have as much vibration as the brushless 20v so I am told.
  9. torque of the DCF887 is higher your looking at 1500 in/bs for the 895 and 1825 in/lbs for the 887
  10. You shouldn't have problems shipping batteries. I shipped @JimboS1ice the flexvolt DCS575T2 circular saw and there were no issues. Most tool batteries should be allowable on air freight unless your over a certain watt hour per battery like the m18 9.0 battery. The flexvolt batteries are allowable because that red clip is an allowable workaround to let DeWALT ship them via air.
  11. I know the hybrid saws from Delta are pretty good and the Unisaw is supposedly really good. I am not sure about the jobsite saws from Delta.
  12. the latest and greatest is the td171 except it is not sold in the states yet except for places selling the Japaneeze version here. I can only hope it is not too far away until it officially comes here.
  13. There is also a hammer drill driver version
  14. Why would Hitachi have to license its own name to itself?
  15. So 2 brands will be sold in the states basically under the same name. Time for a bunch of confusion and wrong purchases if Metabo and Metabo HPT are sold at same store. They should have kept the same name and brought more REAL Metabo to more stores in North America. Bring it back to Lowes maybe even bring it to Menards.
  16. Is this the new fuel model? Yes Europe had a brushed version then it recently got updated to fuel. North America hasn't seen either.
  17. @midogrumpy worm style should already be out. Cutoff saw is either spring or summer 2018 last I heard. Not sure about the mower might be close since Home Depot is already doing some events with it. Thought I heard spring 2018 for the charger.
  18. Far as I know the chuck on the DCD996 the 3 speed premium hammer drill driver is Jacobs.
  19. Their main draw is the new starlock omt's. The cordless SuperCut looks like a dream to use. Even then it is not enough of a draw to make me get another platform. If it used someone elses battery then I would be more interested. It does say one key in the hashtags so might have something to do with one key?
  20. Alexa tell @Nordraw excellent job.
  21. @Framer joe Tanos is the OEM of Systainers and makes them for many different companies but most of them have been reserved for the European market. Festool almost gets special treatment because Festool and Tanos are owned by the same parent company. The system is as good as L-boxxes in my opinion. I feel like it has a bit more options than L-boxxes but I haven't looked into L-boxxes much. I have 3 Systainers now and they do the job. They are clearly not as strong as tough system but the fit and finish is excellent.
  22. I just set a reminder on my phone if I know I will forget and sometimes I even forget to set the reminder haha.
  23. @stefcl100 I want to see one with a door on the side like gas mowers for blowing grass. I'd use it more than a mulcher.
  24. Makita has the new system out where you buy the main unit either gas or x2 then buy your attachments. It seems to cover most of the OPE needs. Not sure what else they could add for the system. Maybe a power brush or tiller attachments? I wouldn't mind a new Makita mower that looks more like the EGO. Maybe even has a steel deck option and/or a self-propeled option. I would also like to see it in x4 setup. Maybe a power mode that uses all 4 batteries for when you need more power then a low power mode that only draws from 2 batteries for more runtime.
