  1. I was recently in sydney and visited bunnings and sydney tools. The prices for shit are insane... Esp Ryobi... jesus... 299$ for a ryobi combo kit that costs less than a hundred in US lol. Whats wierd is that Sydney tools had a bunch of open box stuff that was either on display or just tossed into a box with the same models and they were selling them as "New". How do you even get away with selling something thats dirty, handled, no box and no manual at full price?
  2. I might have a second one if you want to buy it PM me if you're interested
  3. Yeah if you walk into some of our stores theyve changed how our tools are on display so now its like a show room dedicated to just power tools
  4. The worklight is bigger than i thought. And it is extremely well built its about 80% metal and its heavy... The heatsink is huge.
  5. Wew new stuff from metabo this past week and a pinner from chrisk wew
  6. Yeah lowes is were getting the full compliment of hitachis released tools and apparently exclusive hitachi dealer for all the new hitachi tools online and offline and apparently going to be like home depot and ridgid power tools. We have the tri anvil and ipx56 drivers in some stores but the prices are skewed theyre very expensive at the moment. I talked to some of the vendors and they said they arent officially for sale but if people want them and theyre in the system they can buy them. Were not supposed to have them on the floor but people dont know or dont care. If you do see any of the new. Metabo well hitachi is rolling out all of their new shit july or q2 2017 so lowes is going to shell into power tools to compete with home depot. As now lowes has pc hitachi dewalt kobalt bosch. In 2017 they will add hitachi pro tools metabo to their stock and including triton tools which is australian i think to their online trial. I believe you can already get triton tools on the website.
  7. Got my fiance this as a gift because she needed a new vacuum i quite like this thing myself and I'm thinking about getting just the V6 version for myself. The thing really is a great sucker

Funny thing is AMD still does that with their processors, they sell shit batches of chips and label them differently than the prime batches of chips. Hell they just re-label and re-release the same video cards i think twice in a row lol.

I don't know what to tell you man, I dissected thousands of drills, sawzalls oddly enough thats the majority of the small tools I've worked on. 90% of the time I've failed a tool for warranty is if there was a massive collection of dust, its just in the script and from what I've seen and done a tool has failed because of dust and debris. ALso what about festool i dont even have any

Thanks I didn't know that, I don't ever use them for drilling masonry as we have rotohammers but yeah i should probably read the manuals more.

Yeah sorry dude, I worked as a repair tech at home depot for 4 years or so, If I was the tech and I opened your tools up and I saw all that, I would defintely say you killed it with the dust and I would jot down a reason code being customer neglect aka normal wear and tear. After opening up many many milwaukee tools they are not meant to deflect dust or have dust run through them, in fact No tool would survive the abuse you put that thing through I'm putting this to you straight man, As someone that's seen this thousands of times taking shit apart and putting it back together, if you're working with drywall every day, day in and day out you're better off using a roto zip, or something similar, not to bust your balls but tool manufacturers just dont make shit last forever, you went through the tool's intended life, to milwaukee, you got what you paid for.

Yeah, mine started leaking grease from the speed selector, like gray goopy grease after I had to use it for around 20 or so minutes. I started snooping around youtube and found this at around 10:15 after he's been drilling an obscene amount of holes with a bit that the drill isnt rated for its leaking grease.
  17. does the blade heat up fast? I wonder how good these are cutting rebar

From what I know about milwaukee tools is that Drywall or any kind of dust/ Debris Kills the motor as its not shielded. Me and several co-workers have killed several sawzalls and other tools because we use them extensively on drywall. We've recently converted to dewalt as their insides are podded and or shielded completely. I Like milwaukee as I have a sizeable amount invested but I don't use any of my stuff near drywall nor am I investing any more money. Sorry Team red but I've had enough, though milwaukee has apologized profusely and corrected the problem(s) can't afford to wait for stuff to come back from warranty
  19. The question is this, if you already have a fuel sawzall, would you fork out more money for the one key version?
  20. wow someone woke up with a few fucks and ran out by the time he got to those ryobi boxes.
  21. DRILLS, ALL BUT ONE. I don't know I like drills for some reason. I have around 10 or so laying around but I only really use one >_< Some people collect expensive cards and shit I collect drills lol.
  22. Lol to me its more of a "I treat work tools like shit, so I don't lend mine out because they will treat mine like shit."
