  1. Sounds loud, but nice upgrade
  2. Sorry I don’t know...I assume contact customer service.
  3. To add to this....our cordless FlexVolt tablesaw switch crapped out.(1 year old) I contacted Dewalt through email and in a couple days they emailed me a shipping label to send it to a service center for free. She said if it can’t be fixed, ( free under warranty) they will replace it...free....da bomb!!!!!
  4. @Jronman..haven’t heard anything else.
  5. Crap. Lots of China crap..fit and finish is horrible,Kobalt is better. I understand lots of Dewalt tools are made in China, but...Craftsmen was all about American made,American jobs. Pumping out a bunch of China crap is BS and will Not bring back loyal Craftsman users. ....I hope SBD expedites making Craftsmen here or I hope the V20 line fails miserably.
  6. Has anyone heard about the 2 different Makita XTD16 ?? One made in China , one made in Japan. I’ve read bad reviews about the new Chinese version, but great things about the Japan version...?.
  7. Kat, nice joke. Framers and remodelers carry mitresaws to and from job sites everyday. Cordless is king. Power is nonexistent or limited on new construction sites and antiquated on older remodel jobs. Subcontractors fight for power on sites. That’s why cordless everything is a huge benefit., hope this helps. ....I have the Makita 10”, it’s nice. A bit heavy. Don’t know about pushing a 12” blade at (x2) ,but probably better then Milwaukee 18v..which does bog down.
  8. Definitely getting this. Taking off Lull tires and bringing them to the shop saves hundreds of bucks. Service trucks are big money. ...plus I have the gen 2 so go Big or go home. ..wish Dewalt had one.
  9. There’s a good article on “toolguyd” about atomic tools. ..about the only one I see that looks good is the hacksall ( Milwaukee clone) ...the specs suck for the atomic tools ,so does the size....
  10. Awesome planer, have mine since it came out. I use the Bosch 12v to plane doors.
  11. Got it!!!! Awesome router, been using it a few days now. Lowe’s of all places....wider then my Ridgid but more powerful. Also excellent brake, almost instantaneously. Very solid unit...this completes my needs for Dewalt cordless tools. ...hopefully Dewalt lowers the price on 12ah batteries. I am almost certain that a 15ah would be the same size as the 9ah and 12ah., ...
  12. @ToolBane... Saw that as I get there posts. Hercules and Craftsman over the 887 ? And Ridgid at #11??.... Clint and numbnuts are very bias. They are also heavily sponsored. ... .... Watch "Skill Builder" he is actually in the trades for 30yrs... or even "Oz Tools" they are pretty fair. Of course I like "real tool reviews" and "workshop addict"... ...I've come to appreciate Makita precision and quality, they just lack power.
  13. @muddychip... Thank you. Friggin awesome.
  14. I'd buy a new one, they are pretty cheap bare tool
  15. I didn't see any vendors
  16. Dewalt has gotta start bundling these high draw tools with at least the 3/9ah...the 20v lawnmower is great with a couple 9ah... milwaukee is giving free 12ah with all HO tools ..and it's priced well below the flexvolt.
  17. @Jronman please tell me your not watching the biggest hack channel on YT ? They are not even a construction Co and they are greatly sponsored by milwaukee... Have you ever seen or heard of a dewalt 877 smoking ?( 4 different models) Every review on YT has been 100% positive on the 877. It has won or tied every tool challenge for 3 yrs and my company and every other company I Know has had no problems ever doing real framing with the 877. .... They rig tools for views. They give real construction co a bad name....
  18. Anyone buy it yet ? I'm looking to buy one.
  19. why upgrade DIY mid level tools. I was hoping the 887 and 791 got upgraded..
  20. I'd buy into the 12v line if dewalt actually makes a line this time...I'm hopeful..
  21. Ya ..we will buy a few of the super chargers . Because the circ saw goes through 12ah batteries framing. ..
  22. Went with the IR 7152....love the rear knob and easy read control... gonna wait for the 1" milwaukee for our equipment at work...
