    Flexvolt

@CityDecks...wow if your using the Dewalt dvf899 ,3 speed impact wrench..and it's getting hot driving tapcons ,never heard of that. We use the dewalt sds max drill to drill 9" x 1/2" holes 90-120..then We drive 1/2" x 8" Titan bolts into concrete foundations about 90-120 per house , with the 899 impact wrench...gets warm but never hot, it's about 2 years old.....we use it for many applications...like driving 8-10" truss locks ,flat locks, into quad or 6x ply Engineered lumber...no problems so far... Maybe where you are ,is extremely hott?

@CityDecks...are you talking about the dewalt dcf877 impact driver? Or the 899 impact wrench? .....sds tapcons?
  3. Can't wait to get mine, been a long time waiting for a dewalt...got the cordless Ryobi and Ridgid for work already ( being retired) and the cordless Festool for the shop... Tool Boss has a review on it, it looks comfortable and powerful...

    Flexvolt

Gotta be the roof top heat....I have dozen of flex 6 and a dozen flex 9 and 4 flex 12...no problems with the batteries at all. Use them 7 days a week framing ,in all weather....since they came out. @CityDecks why are you using flexvolt batteries on an impact driver? Way to big and unbalanced...a 5ah or 20v 6ah at most is all you need...we don't put more then a 5ah on a drill or impact... If you like the Makita rear handle ,that's cool....but we have 3 of them and noone uses them, way underpowered and awkward balance.... nothing comes close to the POWA of the dewalt 577....best cordless/ corded saw ever made... ..The new Milwaukee HD circ is underpowered also, bogs down and is the physically largest 7 1/4 I've ever used, it's ridiculous, huge motor..
  5. Saw these at Lowe's. Never saw the number 4ah on a battery or a 2ah...don't look like larger cells, just a new sticker? ....a pic of the old style and the new package...
  6. Crack a window anyway, ...great pics. Looks awesome!... how is it working on heating up a room or garage?

I use the mig weld dewalt and a stelletto
  8. Thanks, still don't see how the bottom of it stacks on another Tstak, but looks great
  9. That sounds better then flexvolt, I definitely want the 36v / or ac 10" sliding duel bevel mitre saw.....battery or ac for.drills, circ saws, etc...that sounds " game changing" if the power is there... Another battery platform ,ouch...
  10. Nice chart @khariV... basically the same ..midi 130cfm...CT 26,36,48 at 137 cfm....must be other features the larger ones have like this cyclone top... Bluetooth.,.I'm happy with the midi
  11. Very innovative, gotta be good for electricians....I don't have a need but nice, looks compact..
  12. That's badass... thanks! Safe inside is key.... perfect for power outage., Inside framing, dry the gloves at work, van living,etc.... definitely ordering two.
  13. A dig a dewalt? Actually he only didn't like the tool free bar lock....but said it's skookum
  14. @SetBuilder but most do...got work? Everyone does now.... Dewalt battery prices are ridiculous... Milwaukee has much better battery deals
  15. The 575 will kill a 9ah ripping pt stock ...but lasts half a day cutting kd....I think the 20v sds plus lasts a long time also...I'd say my grinder is harsh on them.......longest 887/792
  16. I use the to freud Diablo 40 or 60 t...finish blades.... awesome cut quality
  17. There are many portable router tables,... Bosch,kreg,skill,etc...
  18. @kornomaniac must of missed that, your right.. definitely not my expertise using grinders
  19. Dewalt does make a joist hangers cordless I have it but it's the same size as the 692..not good for hangers or 12" OC...but the cordless compressor with a 50' hose and and a bostich "strap shot" hanger work perfectly
