  1. Ya @Jronman but damn craftsman and SBD has the orbital sander and other stuff before Dewalt...it's crazy...
  2. Just a speaker ? Interesting but prefer a new compact powerful impact and drill...
  3. While Metabo probably makes the best grinders, the dewalt flexvolt grinder is Highly respected. "AVE" claims best out there.....great reviews and serious power.
  4. If you want to spend time on an expensive saw , recalibrating it...hoping it will work out,cool... professional trim guys ,YT and forums have talked about major issues with this type of saw...bent rails, not cutting 90 even after it's adjusted....... Hitachi and Dewalt make great mitres , Festool being the best...look around,...see for yourself
  5. A must have tool....if not just for the "cool" factor...but it's so much more
  6. @SomeGuy... politics are best left out of the forum...heated debates can occur over a prez that many agree with.
  7. Problem solved, some guys report problems with the gun ,but I have 3-4 and shoot paslode paper nails, full head, 3 1/4 HDG...thousands of nails, owned them since they came out....no problems, push the tip ,hold ,fire,...
  8. @kornomaniac....as I've said a million times, I run 3 framing crews ..one trailer is all Makita, one all Dewalt ( mine) , one all Milwaukee....not my decision, the owners chose the brands ...they all have the latest tools available. I'm not bias ,...most guys on here are DIY or shop guys, not building custom homes 6 days a week in all weather, it's different and more demanding... I comment on what I see and use at work everyday...I buy all the tools and service all the tools, and use all the tools..so I have a very good idea on how they all perform framing... What's not cool is the belittling that happens when a comment is made you don't like..I don't disrespect anyone on here, they are all just personal opinions. As far as dewalt goes,ya no company matches flexvolt ,circ saws, rear handle saws, table saw, and mitre saws...cordless nailers also...they are very durable , powerful tools....... Milwaukee.makes awesome plumbing, HVAC , mechanic tools...small and powerful, generally better then DeWalts equivalent...but they don't match up with framing tools...or cordless nailers and they thermal overload a lot...even the new drill that beats my 997 ,heats up ( read reviews) but I .love M12 line... Makita makes finesse tools, generally not as powerful as Dewalt or Milwaukee...cool features , great tools but not great to frame with..... These are opinions based on daily use....if your not familiar with ..LVL,PT, engineered lumber,IPE, timbers, etc...these are what we cut ,rip, saw.drill, screw etc...not a 2x4 in a garage video... If I'm a shop guy,I'd be all Festool....
  9. @Mattias Blomqvist of course I'm team dewalt, being a framer....I have the dewalt "rocket" it works great, love it for night work.and early mornings.but it's large to store ...and not duel power. Dewalt has some new lights coming, we don't use " area lights" they suck..gotta be tripod.... As you know, dewalt has no 12v line really, so I'm in M12 and Bosch 10.8...the compact size of M12 drill and impact to have hanging off my tool belt is great...we use SS screws for all exterior trim... The M12 rocket is perfect to store under the back seat and especially useful being ..Duel Power....... I wish SBD would release more Dewalt cordless tools instead of 1200 craftsman tools....
  10. Love the midi ..it's a perfect vac...wish I could use this
  11. Gen 4 next year....the drill will get smaller and more powerful...
  12. The flexvolt is great...use them at work everyday...the Makita my other crew has, broke and struggled to push through dense material
  13. Awesome find. Thanks.. looks like a Milwaukee with handles....but glad to have another choice...I'm waiting for the M12 rocket...
  14. It still won't match up to a good jig.....I mean I'm going to get the barrel 20v for work, but not for the shop.....
  15. My bad, why use a flex battery on a20v mitre? It won't help much but more runtime...plus I have that and it is not very good compared to the Ridgid or Milwaukee....a 5ah is all you need for it
  16. I have 4 of the 12ah..it makes a big difference on all the 60v tools.....but 9ah is plenty for the mitre saw...I wouldn't go lower then 9ah /3ah on any 60v tool, .,it absolutely makes a difference in performance and runtime
  17. I'm glad they are expanding the 20v line...ya @Craigh9916 it's not a finesse tool...Bosch makes a good jig, Festool is better, and Mafell is best......but this is the Dewalt forum....so for a decent jig I'm sure it'll be ok...
  18. Dewalt really should focus on expanding the 60v line ....but nice find
  19. Ah....so two years before and stilllllll can't beat dewalt flexvolt...my bad...I got confused because no one can touch flexvolt tools... Makita is funny
  20. Don't keep up with the Jones ? As soon as flexvolt was released they came up with X2 battery tools to compete......
  21. Tstak radio is equal to the tough system and smaller, next best is the Bosch look
  22. I looks great. 5/8" depth of cut ? I wonder how it compares to the Bosch, I know the Bosch is smaller.
  23. @Babysaw...I would only use 9ah or 12ah in the 575 and 577...huge difference in performance and runtime
