  1. @ChrisK...do you have any sortimo tboxx ? And how is amazon uk ? No problems?
  2. Looks very similar to Festool or is it Festool related??? I went with sortimo t- boxx 48 Red containers and also 2 level cases 96 half size containers, (yellow also).. does this system have an advantage ?
  3. Ya, I’m in the green one too, it was the only one made, for a long time, but also have the Dewalt combo compressor/ jump starter.......looks compact though...🙂
  4. Just ordered one with the exotic handle.....nice find
  5. Dewalt mig weld 12oz,(swings like a 20oz ) ..I think.....started off when I was young with estwing 22oz straight claw, moved to Vaughn, then stiletto...and everything in between ,finally the Dewalt...I love the light weight long handle Dewalt hammers.....stiletto heads come off some times, ....no curve claw allowed on the jobs for safety reasons,,, ,and no waffle heads allowed, they make a mess of the frame when the new guys ,swing and miss..... Most framers I know either use stiletto or estwing.......tried most every hammer available including Milwaukee ( which is maybe the worst I’ve used)....
  6. Damn that’s a lot for a multi tool....ouch..better then fein ?
  7. That’s bad ass.......looks it can be used for many applications
  8. @midogrumpy.....thanks for the info...one question is the power cord like the ToughSystem? Thin cord cheap ? I think you said it’s detachable.....
  9. I have most gen 1 m12 and gen 2 impact, love the size and balance ,if I could use 12v all day I would....great system
  10. Tstak radio...just saw these pics....looks great
  11. M12 right angle hex drill....amazing
  12. Love you guys 🤪.....hilarious....ok I made a big bold statement, you got me on that, slightly just a wee bit over the top...Dewalt is most of the time 1or 2 in competitions...if I knew how to post a vid I’d put a funny one up too.....you really think the Dewalt is that slow? It just beat every sds out there but Hilti......I don’t hate Makita, I like them , some of the most comfortable and compact tools available......and as I said before I USE Makita everyday, hence my ability to comment on their tools...not sure how many guys on the makita section even use Makita tools all day everyday like me... .....I criticize Dewalt, I don’t buy every Dewalt tool,..Makitas line of tools is Extensive...I just find Dewalt tools more powerful and long lasting , I comment on every tool brand section,it’s just my opinion based on use... Oh and Mr @ToolBane...I understand the math involved, but 60v at 3ah and 18v at 9ah is not the same output....I guarantee that you will get more work done in Real Life with the 60v flex tools at 3ah then any 18v tool with any battery size....🙃
  13. Waiting also for new Dewalt cordless tools.....I do say no one matches Festool vac set ups....I don’t know if the kapex is better then the Dewalt mitre saw, I’m not a finish guy...but as a framer I see almost all finish guys using the Dewalt mitresaw... I’m getting the Festool sander hybrid....don’t think anyone matches it...i was getting the Festool hybrid jigsaw until @ChrisK mentioned Mafell p1cc...after extensive research that is my jigsaw only wish it was cordless...but nothing can touch it’s power and perfect cuts in deep dense wood...and I make a ton of radius cuts in 4x6 stock.... cmon Dewalt already.....
  14. Yes to everyone above, gotta be “sds”.....go on eBay they have entire used kits for around $140....Dewalt dch273...great small sds...good luck
  15. “Nobody puts baby in a corner” .....interesting
  16. Dewalt has 1 size ? Agree no 12v platform but the 20v line is Compact and the best out there in every single test...and no one comes close to the 60v line especially Makita’s 2 battery line 36v......the 20v line has many compact tools and larger tools within the line...the makita subcompact line doesn’t even match M12 in size or power.....But I do see one advantage of owning 1 battery platform... unfortunately if you need real power the 36v line doesn’t cut it and the subcompact line is out classed by Milwaukee....but for small light limited uses it’s a solid line....IMO
  17. Dewalt sds max 1 7/8” at 13.3 joules......yes I know
  18. YA I keep corded stuff .....put away just in case....cordless stuff is worthy of upgrades every 3-4 years...I’m not upgrading for a 15% increase every year....it’s gotta be significant changes...
  19. That was many years ago, to this day the 887 rules supreme....watch impact shootouts , like the “ skill builder” it even beats the triple hammer hitachi..... Makita makes great compact tools though, extremely comfortable
  20. Extremely compact...so it’s for light to med use with 1600 inlbs.? It looks very comfortable.....
  21. I agree except that Festool is for “ construction “ maybe 5-10% of very careful construction sites, not 90% of guys that will use their tools. They break , not break down, but break when you drop them. “The systainers break if dropped...”Then Don’t drop them joe “ ya not possible in our world. We bought the Festool track saw, someone dropped the saw ,bang , cracked and done.... On the other hand Flexvolt saws get dropped all the time and take it. Nothing wrong with being a shop tool. Nothing wrong with buying high priced, high end tools. I love great tools , Mafell hell ya...glad to learn that. Construction is a much different world then finish guys, cabinet guys or shop guys. Not tv construction, real construction...there’s no floor, walls ,roof to protect your stuff. You show up to a hole in the ground, a foundation,no backfill, boulders, stumps, rocks everywhere, rough terrain,,,your tools are in the dirt, mud, knocked off 12’ ft foundations .. Looks like Mafell tools take a beating, but they’re designed for abuse. Festool System is the best out there, I’m just getting into it thanks to @ChrisK...Someday I hope to own a cnc machine and a 3D maker....
  22. Oh got it,like a one drill/impact for all occasions. I never find that works for me, in my line of work. Unfortunately I don’t think Dewalt has that advantage yet.like @The.Handyman said maybe Makita, definitely Milwaukee gen 2...
  23. BTW @ChrisK I’m a little jealous.....please let me know how it is ,how it feels...when you do get it...😃
