  1. I was going to go bosch12v but M12 is nice ...so I hope the expand it ...Bosch has a cool planer, router, sander, .....hope m12 grows
  2. Funny you say that, a guy was cutting a pool wall 100’ from us and the cement dust was drifting over like a cloud,,it was killing us....I walk over and said , hey there’s new rules dust can’t fly everywhere , it’s cancerous ...OSHA ? He goes “ya right,so ?.............of course I take it that means, “im a dick so, please go get your machine and crush me” .......so I obliged him😑.no, kidding...so I had a guy use a chemical sprayer with water in it to keep it down....that stuff is brutal....
  3. I just don’t know much about them, not in my line of work...(except for cutting foundation pockets for the girt)....do I want it ? Ya ,It would look cool sitting on my shelf...maybe user videos will sway me...we’ll see. I don’t buy every Dewalt tool, no tool connect tools for me.......I’m sure there’s a need or they wouldn’t have made it...
  4. The idea of it is great. The guys I see using them use gas models with crazy power. Usually cutting a foundation wall (8”-10”thick) to cut in a door or access hole for remodeling.....if it works ,awesome. ....those tools take serious abuse. It just didn’t look “heavy duty” to me, like the gas models....but hey I’m all for more tools more POWA...😁
  5. I can’t start carrying a 55 gal drum of water around...lol...I guess I gotta pass... nice for those who can use it.......
  6. Ya @Bremon talked about demo demon blades a while ago...he is right there is a big difference using a tracking point diablo blade vs a Flexvolt blade.... .... @Jronman love the continuous tools coming out. I’ll probably get that for my boss to cut foundation pockets when they are put in the wrong spot (which is almost every house) right now we chip em out with an “sds” ....but don’t know about the water aspect, none around..... .....that Tstak radio looks sweet :)...hope it sounds like it’s big brother (tough system)..........great job finding this stuff !!!!!!!!!
  7. Damn ....great new cordless tools...the Tstak radio, done deal...thanks for the pics and vids
  8. I have the same set up, love that stand ...it’s bolted at an angle with longer bolts...no problems yet, in and out of the truck every weekend.... looks good nice job !
  9. @ChrisK you don’t like the bosh 12v for the Bosch jacket.? I don’t many Bosch 12v yet but I saw the 12v adapter with a belt clip and it looks small and I think it’s the only one with a belt clip...don’t know though....I do like m12 though ..
  10. Maybe it’s that my batteries are in rotation....so the battery on my tool outside is used at work until 1 bar shows ,then that battery goes in a bag to be charged later, a new charged battery is grabbed from my Tstak drawer, in my truck and put on the tool.. that battery will stay there until 1 bar is read... when I go home the “dead batteries “ go on my 118chargers in my heated garage ...when they are charged they go in the Tstak box/drawers in the truck.....so different batteries are being constantly rotated...from charger to storage drawer to tool ........all batteries are charged in my garage(warm)...but then placed in my truck outside....I don’t charge on the job ever.... ...........I’m not a battery expert, at all...but I do know what works for me...it’s a Buisness first, “fan” second....... .........I give my honest opinion on the tools I use everyday in harsh environments...I don’t embellish , it’s real life...I would never try to persuade someone to buy “Dewalt “just because it’s a Dewalt tool, every tool they make isnt the best.....although many are....but as a system of tools for my field I do like Dewalt.... ........I learn many valuable tips, deals and tool uses on this forum, there are many talented guys/gals on here . I appreciate people taking the time to write ....some guys put some damn funny stuff up.quite witty......shit makes me laugh out loud sometimes.....😃
  11. @77Ford01...what do you think of the open bottom ?
  12. I have dozens of every Dewalt battery...don’t know about your particular situation BUT...I haven’t had a bad battery yet...I work all winter everyday outside and All my Dewalt cordless tools AND batteries are outside working with me.... My truck contains all my Dewalt cordless tools with a battery on each tool and dozens of 5, and flex 6 and 9ah...spare batteries in my Tstak box tower in my truck ...Outside everyday ....never a problem...never a dead battery.... Today we built a deck ,as I do every weekend, it was 25 degree and 20mph wind...last night it was 20 degrees.....there is no heat in the bed of the truck where the tools stay....the spares do warm up some as I drive to the job....Snow,Rain,Heat,Cold....my Dewalt cordless tools and batteries have Not let me done...........I love the battery design and the abuse they-take... IMO...Dewalt ,makes the Best Batteries...and tools.(well most tools, not 12v,or lights,or recip, )...😀 .....if you actually did have a problem with a battery..you should definitely contact Dewalt......but there is No Problem with the design or functionality of their batteries......
  13. I don’t use my Dewalt heated jacket ,just too bulky with the battery set, so this sounds promising,,,cool
  14. Man I love that POWA.....cutting engineered lumber into hip rafters, valley rafters on that long compound bevel cut is now NO problemo...... now send me another one Dewalt ...... cordless the only way to go...... like today we tried running probably 8 -10 circ saws at once plus a couple tablesaws and a couple chop saws.,4 /100ft lines of ceiling lights ...just keep popping the breakers..2 lines from the pole 120v..... into the temp box.that has 4/30amp and 4/ 20amp outlets....had the electric company come out and they said just too many amps being drawn...... I love cordless...
  15. Acme still says arriving soon when I pull it up ? My guy there says next week , I already bought it.....we’ll see, I hope so...
  16. Me too....just Got It ...love it !!!! Just in Time this weekend suppose to be around 25 plus 20mph winds.......best investment .....it CRANKS the Heat...so powerful for such a small unit......
  17. Sweet looking ,bad ass saw @77Ford01....wish I could use it
  18. Thanks @noccem....appreciate the find . ...I’m holding till the 10th-11th “supposedly” acme is having a big sale
  19. Thanks @noccem....appreciate the find . ...I’m holding till the 10th-11th “supposedly” acme is having a big sale
  20. @Pouet...I’m sure at some point they will have more lighting options, don’t hold your breath ! They have that stackable model and the tripod for larger area lights...then the usual flashlights and stuff.......Milwaukee is prob king of lighting.....but I’m in for couple tripod lights....
  21. It’s worth the price . ...if you need that much power. I got it ,don’t need it,just “in case” I do ..I paid 238 at acme with 15% off.....so that’s a great deal you have at 199...
