  1. Hey @glass..how do you work for two different Tool companies..?
  2. I love using it with my trim guns....next one should be 120v and super quiet like the 200psi trim compressor
  3. Wish it was hybrid but I’m still getting a couple
  4. Track saws , ? We have a Festool , it’s precious but the set up is too slow and ya gotta be xtra careful placing the track down, so it doesn’t bend......we are framers nor cabinet makers, my boss was insane getting that. ...He ordered 6 more 577 saws though after he used mine......Love That Saws Power.....More POWA!!!!
  5. The depth adj arm on the 575 is 2.5 mm thick on the 577 it’s 5.1mm thick. The base plate on the 575 is 4.4mm thick on the 577 it’s 8.6mm thick The bevel arm on the 575 is 3mm thick on the 577 it’s 4.0 mm thick ....nearly 2x thicker and more heavy duty on the 577 compared to the 575 , which is already more heavy duty then any other cordless saw on the market.... .....Id say Dewalt engineered the 577 for some serious use.
  6. Ya nearly a FV tool display at our HD...they moved the tools to the isles, with the rest of the 20v tools.......Makita 36v has an end cap now. .....and there’s a 12v display...we never had that before ..........usually means More Dewalt tools are a coming ....
  7. No @glass...under built ? It’s like 4” thick. Kidding but there is no weak point on the 577....the depth gauge is thick and the markings are super easy to read, the bevel has pos stops at 22.5 and 45........the base plate is “honey combed “ ...the entire saw is a beast. Made specifically for contractors abuse.....put a diablo framing tracking point blade on and H o L d o n ...for the thrill and pleasure of ripping into piles of lumber .............NoOne has an answer for Any Flexvolt Tool (ok except the recip ) ....Dewalt Domination!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. Ya I hear that @Jronman....
  9. Thanks @Moze....let us know...wow sounds very powerful.......I’m a Dewalt guy but every tool Dewalt didn’t make Ryobi did....so I have a bunch...
  10. @overanalyze.... most guys on the forum are m12guys .....I have a couple m12 tools..but I have the same list you just said in my cart ready to pull the trigger....I’ve reviewed a million videos and the Bosch 12v Tools look badass and perform at the top. Not the highest rpm or torque but quality , weight, size seam to be in the Bosch camp.........didn’t know that new vac was out yet ? And the planer and router look sick ;)......... do you have the new “ec “ cordless stuff ?
  11. Please do @The.Handyman.......gotta love the pics...any info also on anything is awesome...
  12. Sorry Jimbo that’s the 18v flexclick ....I was thinking of , pretty cool
  13. @JimboS1ice..for the flexclick ...I thought you got the flexclick, there is an sds attachment for the flexclick actually it’s an sds plus attachment...
  14. I may have to get that,if it works well...
  15. Does it really have great suction @Moze ? Or just ok ....I have plenty ol 4ah batteries..there cheap as dirt after the holiday $49-59 for a 2pack..... my two Dewalt cordless vacs aren’t that good...
  16. @JimboS1ice ..did you get the “sds” attachment also ?
  17. Gotta say. Good Job Rigid.....I think the specs are the same , just the color changed for a limited holiday run....but as you said ...Badass....I don’t think I’d mind a special edition black Dewalt set...:)
  18. Only way I know for sure to get a lower price is to take advantage of an ..acme or tool up or tool nut discount .....nov 10-11 check out acme . Supposedly a good deal going so I’m told.......I just used a 20% off discount at acme to get the , mid torque impact wrench, the die grinder and the 10qt new cooler...great deals
  19. Kinda hijacked this thread from the tripod light...sorry Hugh....i want that light sooo bad...getting dark now earlier....I want to retire my Ryobi flood lights and use my Dewalt batteries.......kinda like Dewalt hijacked the entire light from Milwaukee..lol...but I still want it 😊
  20. Good luck with the flex mitre ,great saw for stationary work.......I’m holding out for a 10” version
  21. Makita. ..May have the biggest fan base...seems any negative comment will cause a firestorm,so I’ll only say I’ve used both for the same task and ..I stand by my comment above........there is No saw even close to the 577
  22. Wow, what a beautiful beast....it would look nice on my shelf ,like a trophy 😁....I really only use trim routers , I leave the custom finish org to guys like you...;)
