Weird Tolkienish Figure Posted July 29, 2016 Report Posted July 29, 2016 Tool addict here. Bought my first 12v drill about 5 years ago (yep!) and have been in love with 'em since. Want to buy: Deward Impact 20v Milwaukee 3/8 cordless wrench (want this so bad!) Harbor Freight Demo Hammer Harbor Freight flux core 120v welder (for small repair jobs as the need may arise) 1 Quote

Weird Tolkienish Figure Posted July 30, 2016 Author Report Posted July 30, 2016 I was looking for the Milwaukee Dremel, went to HD and Lowes, neither had it. They had the Dremel Dremel, but I've actually heard the Dremel brand Dremels don't last long, I wanted Milwaukee. Quote
DR99 Posted July 30, 2016 Report Posted July 30, 2016 Lowes does not carry any Milwaukee products anymore. The Milwaukee M12 rotary tool is ok its nothing amazing either. Quote

It a fan of their other tools but the rotary tools are actually quite solid! Quote
kruton Posted July 31, 2016 Report Posted July 31, 2016 First off welcome to the crew, secondly I wouldn't hesitate at all to get the Dremel rotary tool. Great little unit. I have the 4000 and couldn't be happier. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk Quote

Think that's the model and it's about 12 years old and still runs fairly well, just needs some brushes but my m12 rotary is the go to Jimbo Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Quote
KnarlyCarl Posted July 31, 2016 Report Posted July 31, 2016 Welcome aboard, I'm not a tool addict I promise lol... The dremel cordless is the only one I've heard of that doesn't perform as well, other than that, good tools Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk Quote
sparky603 Posted July 31, 2016 Report Posted July 31, 2016 The M12 rotary tool is probably the least impressive of all of my Milwaukee cordless tools - right there with the M12 ratchets and both of the original LED flashlights - but does work fine. Quote

Wow... I love that little thing, definitely has performed well in everything I've asked if it all the way from cutting heads to sanding to grinder discs Jimbo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1 Quote
Weird Tolkienish Figure Posted August 2, 2016 Author Report Posted August 2, 2016 One thing about cordless tools: it pays to wait. Much like Smartphones or the tech sector they come out with better stuff all the time, and the stuff you really wanted just gets cheaper as time goes on. Quote
