comp56
ok so what better way to test out the accuracy of the Ridgid table saw?......................make a funky cutting board... started with a few pieces Black Ash, Maple, and Padauk......set table saw to cut 0.0500" or just little less than 1/16" (I know crazy right?, it cut them perfectly) cut a bunch of them......( just a FYI if you ever work with Padauk wear a mask, it cuts like glass and gives off more of a powder than sawdust and this powder stains so don't wear a white shirt) Soak them in warm water then dry fit them (no glue yet) to form a curve.....just a few at a time to get close to shape before glue up..... more to come.....
