I thought my guys were hard on tools but holy crap and it's only three years old.  I know oils are hard on the rubber overmolds but that thing is beat.  I don't think anyone would blame a company for not honoring a warranty but it's pretty awesome that acme did.

Wow, judging by his sleeve though that says a lot about how a guys treats his tools, yea they get dirty but neglects another level, although anything goes in an oil field

The fact that it lasted the years is what is amazing. Mine would look the same if they didn't get stolen every 11 months. No companies design power tools to meet the jobs in demanding environments when that's only a small percentage of sales. Most of them go to tradesmen. His sleeve looks like he must have just got a new jacket.

I have seen issues with Milwaukee quality but dang that tool look like it took a beating and kept on going. Like people said I'm honestly surprised the warrantied the tool.

 pretty much. We take care of our tools but a day in the patch is equal to a year in someones garage.
