Bremon
Sacfasteners on IG posted a teaser of a new blower coming out May ‘19. In-line design. 600 CFM apparently. Interesting battery placement. Hopefully way better balanced and lighter than the current FlexVolt blower, which is pretty poor in my opinion.
JakeDewalt
I have to disagree me and everyone who has used my 60v blower loves it. Me as well Now keep in mind I use it in a construction environment not landscaping
Big Adam
Assume $249 is bare tool?

Me as well Now keep in mind I use it in a construction environment not landscaping Had one and sold it. Even the gen2 Milwaukee is better. This new one might have a shot at taking the crown from Ego and Makita. The 60v is good compared to the little dust blowers that all brands seem to have clones of. 7 hours ago, Big Adam said: Assume $249 is bare tool? Probably. The OPE kits are generally 400+ CAD. Some occasional crazy deals pop up though.
muddychip
Good find. See how it will fair against Makita's x2 blower.
Jronman
The old design was a design based off of gas blowers. I see a loss of efficiency due to the battery being directly behind the air intake. The inline design is a more efficient design.

I'm not sure on the mph. So they would be pretty equal in power.

Framer joe
Dewalt has gotta start bundling these high draw tools with at least the 3/9ah...the 20v lawnmower is great with a couple 9ah... milwaukee is giving free 12ah with all HO tools ..and it's priced well below the flexvolt. Big battery, small charger.Probably to keep the price down for the homeowner buying his first FV tool. The gateway tool.Anybody that uses FV for a living already has several fast chargers.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
