Conductor562
I'm gonna have to break down and get a cordless circ saw. The tech is finally good enough I believe.
regopit
I'm just glad that I held off on buying the fuel 6-1/2 saw. I would have been pissed.
DR99
I'm having some rage right now I have some choice words for Milwaukee right now!!! I wonder if Makita and their full size circular saw made them decide to make this.

JeremyJ
In the early shots of this saw, it had a vacuum attachment on the blade housing. It would be nice if all future "saw" products had a hose attachment that worked well. Customers love a clean house/yard.
Oz Toolmiester
got the 6-1/2 " and love it , Will buy this When it comes Down under

Brien
7-1/4" cordless is a monster saw. I like the the LED too.
mike_dave
I have been heavily considering getting a cordless circ saw. I am glad that I found this thread. I think that I will hold off for this one
regopit
This is my next saw Regopit. I've been waiting patiently..... I have the 6 1/2 non fuel saw and it works great and was going to up grade to the fuel I'm glad I saw this before I pulled the trigger. Mow I'm playing the waiting game. BK13
I'm having some rage right now I have some choice words for Milwaukee right now!!! I wonder if Makita and their full size circular saw made them decide to make this. I can sorta understand the rage, but I think if I would have bought the 6.5" I would have been okay with buying the second one. But I an a bit of a tool hoarder...
DR99
It's just hard to justify having over 400 dollars in cordless circular saws Having both would be nice. I just like that the 7 1/4 has better blade selection for the most part. You just can't get some blades in 6.5 yet.
BK13
Oh, I understand. That's the difference between a guy who likes to collect gear for the heck of it and someone who makes money with his tools.
ebowejr
Would love this to have the blade on the left and not the right being right handed but I'm sure its going to be very well balanced that it probably wont even affect the long cuts through a couple layers on flywood and am so glad I haven't gotten the 6.5" circ saw yet....what I would give for a fuel sawzall and 7.25" circ saw set so I could save a little on both....would be even beter if they could throw in the paddle grinder in a set as well. ChrisK
I have the 6 1/2 non fuel saw and it works great and was going to up grade to the fuel I'm glad I saw this before I pulled the trigger. Mow I'm playing the waiting game.I actually didn't like my non fuel 6-1/2 and sold it. I've been wearing for this one to come out, I figured I'd stay corded but when I bought my Ryobi Airstrike, I bought a ryobi 18v lithium battery with the little circular and I forgot how much I liked having a cordless one for working outside. ChrisK
Don't get me wrong, the ryobi is a little saw with not enough power but it'll cut through 2x material for those quick cross cuts. Plywood cuts.....? Not so impressed.
Bigmikez
im a DEWALT guy and I love my 20v circular saw but ive been seeing some youtube review of the fuel saw 6 1/2inch and man I gotta say this one is a beast so I can just imagine the bigger one coming out! ebowejr
I just looked and didn't even see this on milwaukee's website, why keep this a secret!
DR99
Tool companies like to keep things under wraps till they can have the big reveal at their media event. All of the big tool companies do it.
ebowejr
Any idea on when that event will be lol because I really want to buy this! Or aren't they actually having that this week? I think i heard 12th to 15th somewhere for milwaukee's symposium
NicholasShetley
They are having it tomorrow. The saw won't be released then but would most likely be available by the end of the year though if they do unveil it.
ebowejr
Just checked their website again and they've got it on there, also with a couple new rotary hammer drills that I'm really excited about as well. Looks like another great round of new tools coming from Milwaukee, only thing I didn't see that I was hoping to see was a revised brushless version of the m18 multi-tool but that I guess I'll have to wait even more. regopit
With everything I have read the last few days about this saw it is going to kick the Makita 36V saw to the curb.
dwain
It's hard to imagine though isn't it? Surely the extra 18V pack is going to either give you longer runtime (even against the BL motor), or be far more powerful. I'd like to see that tool fight!
