overanalyze
Definitely breathes some new life into older tools. I have quite a few older tools that still work fine. I like this!

overanalyze
Smart move either way. Gives people the ability to mix and match new tools and old ones now. Sent from my SM-T310 using Tapatalk

ChrisK
And it allows Dewalt the option to severely limit production of 18v tools which was kind of predicted when the introduced the 20v line. Here's a link to Stuart's site, really interesting!!!http://toolguyd.com/dewalt-20v-max-18v-battery-adapter/
Bigmikez
Thanks for posting the article chrisk! I'm not gonna lie I feel kinda posses that they waited so long after u got rid of all my 18v tools I would've kept them around if I knew this was coming... ChrisK
Yeah, I'm not sure if it was designed as a marketing ploy but when you look at the quality of all Dewalt tools and throw in their premier 20v lineup with all of the bells and whistles it makes sense that they would (at least as it appears by me) to Segway out of the 18v lineup. Fuel gauges, brushless motors etc...
