I'm looking at buying either that one or the new Roku3 or Roku3 , What I have always wondered was are they better at streaming then the ones that come with smart TV's or Blu Ray's or even my AV Receiver has that capability. comp56 Posted October 30, 2015 Report Share Posted October 30, 2015 i'm pretty sure they are all in the same kind of boat, just depends on person preference and some may or may not play/stream some filesI know I have had the WDTV since it came out and at the time nothing was around then, not even smart TV's. cool toy to play with for sure......not sure I would go with an apple product as I don't like how they control you.......just my opinion.... I bought the GF a Roku, but there's a yoga website she wants to be able to access, but you can't do it from the Roku without a third party workaround via a Droid device, and I'm not going to try and figure out her Samsung retardophone...
