If either of you guys really need them, I don't... I was planning on using them as regular locking pliers because I don't have a welder yet. I'd sell them to you for my cost plus actual shipping, I have two. They should be here tomorrow so if you two want to figure out who needs them the most or if you both can benefit from one.

I would actually love to bring some of those deal posters here to be honest even though it came with drama at times. My hook up on deals keeps drying up. I know their is a secret HD group but you need to get the code from somone I know he posts here too :)

Makita XDT12z impact driver $151.08 minus $25 holiday discount = $126.08

https://www.amazon.com/Makita-XDT12Z-Lithium-Ion-Brushless-Quick-Shift/dp/B01MCS0H1G/ref=sr_1_7?s=power-hand-tools&ie=UTF8&qid=1479866367&sr=1-7&keywords=makita+impact+driver

Hell of a deal on one of the newer Makita tools.

Knowing Amazon though, the price may bounce around a bit. When I first looked at it tonight it was $157.02.

And the price has dropped again. It is now $142.95 minus $25 coupon = $117.95

Meh, Amazon is pissing me off. Late last night I ordered the Makita impact, and today they drop the price again. As it has not shipped I attempt to cancel the order, and they refuse because they are preparing to ship it. They also refuse to make a price adjustment due to policy. Their email system is a pain in the rear and seems to be automated bots responding to the requests as the time lag between requests and refusals were between 10 and 30 seconds for each one. I have totally lost interest in purchasing the item at this point, no matter what the price...

Just buy another and return the first under a general "Item not as described" ...their customer service is going downhill. I had one item they refused to price adjust and the CS rep said they couldn't and told me to return and rebuy,

It's annoying that amazon does not have an official price matching policy.

They do. It's "we don't do that and we don't offer price adjustments". They used to do both and I think people abused it so they got rid of it and went with the current policy.

Unfortunetly @DR99 what @khariV said is dead on, the policy changed earlier this year. I'm not sure what scam people were running but Amazon put an end to it and screwed over legitimate price matching. It's pretty much how HD does price matching, they just do a return and rebuy, which is why you can do it (at HD) for 90 days.

The scam goes something like this. First you buy lots of some legitimately priced or high priced item. Then because Amazon let anybody list items for sale, you then have a friend list the same item for super cheap " fulfilled by Amazon". You then contact Amazon and get a price match for the difference between what you paid and what your friend is listed even though your friend didn't have 100 of them to sell. You then pocket the refund, the friend de-lists the other item and you resell the items on eBay for a slight discount so that they sell quickly.

Seems like Amazon should be able to deal with that pretty easy scam easy. Only things sold by Amazon would be bound by a price match policy.

That was the first change, not sure how they go around that and led to the new change.

I know a big scam right now is fake sellers listing items stupidly cheap and getting them to send money outside of ebay.

yeah, this is making it hard for me to find legit deals too :(

I imagine it's going to get worse because of the algorithms some stores have so their price will change and we'll order and they'll cancel because the price is too cheap. I've been trying to avoid that by posting "fulfilled by Amazon" unless I have a good feeling about the listing. You'd be amazed with how long I was browsing to get those previous four deals, went through dozens of too good to be true deals to find the good one. Stupid scammers ruining things for everyone.
