BMack37
Haven't been able to walk, let alone, drive for the past two weeks but finally picked up some orders waiting at Sears and Lowe's. This is a decent little set from Craftsman for $30 minus any points and coupons you may have...I think I paid like $8 for them Irwin chisel set from Lowe's and (not shown) wood glue, killer deal with the $15 off $30 coupon. I wasn't going to buy the Irwin honing stone set but I ended up needing to use SYW points and this worked right in to get me the best use of coupon and points, for $1.50, it will work!

Bremon
Ordered the DCH233B Dewalt brushless D-handle SDS. Don't need one, so may resell it. $87 USD, couldn't refuse. The comparable Milwaukee is far more. Also ordered a 12" Freud Industrial thin kerf crosscut blade for my FlexVolt mitre saw. Really pumped to see how that works out.
rdst_1
Didn't pick up any new tools but went to my local lumberyard to pick up wood for my vaulted ceiling project.Ended up buying Fir as it was half the price of Devdar ( Indian variety of Cedar). These are 35 pieces of 10 foot long 10x5. Unlike US, the pieces are a tad oversized over here because jointing and planing will remove the outer edges. They are also longer than the stated 10ft as the edges have some splits. Most pieces are in the 10.5-11ft range. This is the Cedar that I already have. Most of the window frames and stuff has already been built. The remaining cedar will be used to build 16 doors and 22 window panes.I really wanted to buy Cedar for the ceiling as well but the price difference is huge. Those 35 logs of Fir cost me $1500. I wanted to go for Pine as it was even 40% cheaper than the Fir, but Pine is a lot more susceptible to borers over here and I didn't want to take the risk.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I have those 20v Max tools minus the DCF887. All are outstanding, and the screwgun with attachment along with the cutout tool amazed the hired help when I was hanging drywall last month. As for new tools, I bought my first DeWalt 18v tool yesterday. The local Home Depot had a clearance section I hadn't noticed before right next to the Pro Desk. Found a like-new DC385 that had been the display tool for the 20v to 18v adapter. It was only marked at 25% off but still had the adapter in it, so I figured that $67.50 was a good price for a new saw and an adapter (especially since I do not have any 18v batteries). Also picked up a DeWalt organizer set on clearance and a husky technician's bag.

Bremon
The DCS575 doesn't disappoint; it's ridiculous ?? Ordered the FlexVolt table saw and joist drill today. Was going to get the blower but I'll wait a month. Don't like seeing the savings drop much at a time lol. Also ordered a Freud Industrial blade for the saw. Running out of FlexVolt to buy! Bremon
I'm such a spec geek that I see the numbers on the Festool drill and the only one higher than the competition is the price tag, so I leave them be, but I realize they certainly have their place. The one with all the attachments is especially cool.
