ya no one forces me to watch his video's and I usually don't only because for such a so called smart guy he talks stupidly. I don't think he taken apart anything he has liked, and then bases his thoughts on what is inside and not on the actual function of the item. If you ever notice he makes things sound like most things will break the third time you use it. Maybe he should use the product for

a few hours to see what and how it works instead of taking it apart right out of the box. I know my paper clips are not made out of acculating titanium but none of them have failed to keep paper together for me.

I hear the criticisms but I see it as entertainment tool porn and his knowledge of how things work is pretty good. He ain't everyone's cup of tea. That being said I've been really curious how the air strike worked inside and appreciated seeing one torn apart with accompanying explanations of what we were looking at. It's worth a view just to see how complex cordless nailers are inside. It seems the Milwaukee version underwent some reduction in component size in that cylinder part because it looks externally much smaller...

I think that's his shtick to get viewers. I'm not the huge AvE fan like I used to be because his reviews are generally anything new sucks and a tools should be made as big and bulky as possible to have the most durability.

That's just his "persona" when he reviews.

He is a smart guy despite the goofy mispronunciations.

The thing I like is that he is equally hard on all tools.

He is a machinist and he applies that knowledge to tools.

The build quality is what really interests him and most of his viewers.

To that end, just using a tool for awhile only tells you it does what it is supposed to. It doesn't give you insight into the overall quality and longevity. I for one appreciate the detail of his reviews, the time he takes to research what the housings a made of etc...

He really seems bummed about Milwaukee selling out to TTI and Ryobi licensing its name only to TTI, same with Rigid. I had no idea there was such a huge difference between them. That's pretty interesting to me.

Yea he can be a dick most of the time for sure. From what  can gather from watching his older videos he is some kind of engineer/ trouble shooter for some mining equipment company. He travels all over the place but he still a ass wipe. Too smart for his own good.

He does what few or no one else does.

Bragging and testing the feeling of tools we got loads of information out there to do. And reviwers like the TIA, give a lot of good information. But I'd love the extra information AVE gives on the inner workings, material analysis and electrical analysis. The conclusion, I'd make for myself anyhow, so no problem if he think things shit, if the review is good, all is good. :-D

Might me that I'm juat "that" kind of person that takes interest in the inside of the tools, just as much of how good it does daily. It helps me fix the tools too, and that might save me money. :)
