tugnut1
I ran into some really sweet spalted maple a couple months ago at a really good price. I've been able to make Michigan cutting boards with it. Here are three that I finished up this weekend. The one in the middle was made up from scrap strips that I had laying around from when I made glue up cutting boards.

WigWagWorkshop
Those cutting boards look awesome! Although the one in the middle is boarding Buckeye Colors LOL. BTW, just because I am living on OH, does not make me a Buckeye LOL.... I'm a lifelong Badger!

Stercorarius
Mineral oil. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk Have you ever tried using beeswax dissolved in mineral oil? I hear that you can get good results, but have never witnessed it first hand.
tugnut1
I have not, but I have heard the same thing. Mineral oil is just really easy and can be reapplied by anyone. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
