tugnut1 Posted February 29, 2016 Report Posted February 29, 2016 I ran into some really sweet spalted maple a couple months ago at a really good price. I've been able to make Michigan cutting boards with it. Here are three that I finished up this weekend. The one in the middle was made up from scrap strips that I had laying around from when I made glue up cutting boards. 8

Stercorarius Posted March 2, 2016 Report Posted March 2, 2016 Mineral oil. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk Have you ever tried using beeswax dissolved in mineral oil? I hear that you can get good results, but have never witnessed it first hand.
tugnut1 Posted March 2, 2016 Author Report Posted March 2, 2016 I have not, but I have heard the same thing. Mineral oil is just really easy and can be reapplied by anyone. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk 1
